Opening Game of World Cup. Sri Lanka (Finalist in last world cup) against a Handy kiwis outfit.
 
Sri Lankan spinners will eat the Kiwis alive.
 
I also think the same thing, but seeing the pitches if new zealand can muster up a score of 140 or anything around that, their bowling and fielding depth while also the frailty of Sri Lankan batting can make an interesting match..

I think whoever will bat first will win the match
 
i'll definitely support Newzealand in this game.
just want to see srilankan's are falling down on very 1st game :14:

Looking forward to the first game today for various reasons actually.

First of all it is match between two big teams. Wana see how the atmosphere and the conditions are.

And I really hope there are no dancing girls in the ground!!! (allthough I know the truth, but a humble wish nevertheless)

wow they are just showing the predicted group E & F and I knew Aus would not be there but still looks really wierd :p

haha il let the slightly faulty speed guns today and give my accurate speed gun a much needed rest :akhtar :p

gotta say starting to rem how anti-pak the SS coverage is :p lol i know i might be going a bit OTT but brings back memmories of last year how they were trying to convince the world that SA lost the semi and Pak never Won it

yup,that Shoaib Gun should only be used at special occassions....... :akhtar
And the Faulty and ordinary guns should be used for ordinary occassions..:Sami

That's because domestic matches are by the PCB and the PCB don't give a rat's butt about their domestic cricket - the reason why the mods don't really mind links for domestic matches being posted because no one from the PCB complains to them. I assure you, if we were an Australian cricket forum, and links to Aussie domestic matches were being posted, everybody would get into trouble.
 
Dilshan owned most of the tournament last year opening, will be interesting to see if he's still got the umph..

I think Kiwis will win. Vettori and McCullum are as good as SL's spin attack.
 
supporting Kiwis also !!! but since lanka is batting 1st, they have a huge advantage
 
Kiwis go for a hammer. Sanga needs to be taught a big hard lesson.
