Apologies if this has already been posted, I couldn’t find it anywhere, it seems like the series is going ahead now. Is there any news about who is showing this in the UK?
 
Nope there will be no broadcast in the UK but the good thing is like our last series i am 99% certain it will be streamed live in HD free on youtube as windies series on there in UK
 
I also noticed the New Zealand v West I ndies series was available via New Zealand Cricket's YouTube channel. I hope the Pakistan series is also available via this platform in the UK.
 
Really really disappointing from Nz cricket
no Tv platform in India.
just on Mobile app which is really unknown to everyone .
p.s we have to subscribe
 
Sky sports in the UK have always shown New Zealand cricket until this year .
So I don’t think it will be shown in the UK unfortunately. Best bet is the the New Zealand cricket you tube channel.

Hopefully something changes !
 
Sky are a disgrace. Don't have Australia and Indian homes games anymore. New Zealand home games are gone . I'm sure the deal with South African home games finishes this year. Only England home games and ICC tournaments on sky now.

Saj bhai can you try and find out why Sky don't broadcast series in Australia, India, and New Zealand anymore and let us know.

Same here. I cant find it on YouTube. I instead watch it on SuperSport. I have a fire tv box and i have channels on their so i watch it on that.

You can subscribe to ESPN+ from the ESPN website, and it costs $5 per month.

With a subscription you can download the ESPN+ app on your TV/SmartTV/Roku/Mobile Device/Computer and watch that way.
 
Its available on Youtube in UK only
.in newzealand its spark sports. In india it is on fancode. In US its espn plus and in africa its on supersports

Where is Pak v Nz being shown in the UK ?

Any ideas Nz V WI wasnt on Sky Sports , which is where you would expect it to be ?
 
I have seen NZ v WI on Youtube (NZC). Expect the same for Pakistan series.
 
It will be on you tube. I have a feeling shaheens match with nz A might be on youtube aswell

Sky sports look like they're trying to either save money or going down a different route. They've all but declined to bid for the rights for England's series in India as well citing difficulties with BCCI during negotiations previously, which precedes the Sri Lanka tour (deal for this tour pretty much done). So not surprised no non English international cricket is currently on the schedule.

Even the BCCI are struggling to sell their rights in the UK, it's a tough market. All cricket boards need to reduce the expected value of overseas tv rights.
 
Guess the reason why Sky Sports hasn't or won't be showing the series in NZ is due to the fact the timings are such with games starting at 1am at night till 9 in the morning which doesn't get them many subscribers or views because of that.
 
Well I'm not cribbing. I can watch Test cricket for free on YouTube as opposed to having to fork out a Sky/NOWTV subscription or use some crappy stream with ads every ball.
 
Youtube is okay. With modern technology you can easily connect your phone to your tv so should be able to watch it on tv in good quality for free with no major issues.

I have noticed that the NZC youtube always have their live stream in 1080@60fps which makes it look going a bit faster than normal viewing on TV.

While the live cricket on ESPN+ looks fantastic, the only con is that ESPN + offers only replay option and they have no highlights at all. Even the replay of the game disappears after a few days.

I do miss Willow in that sense. They provide 2 types of highlights - long (about 25 minutes) and short (about 11 minutes) and then individual highlights of wickets, sixes, fours, special performances - in batting, bowling etc.,

ESPN is million times better than that poor quality Indian channel Willow even if it doesn't offer highlights. The streaming quality itself makes up for it.

Of course ESPN+ is owned by Disney a billion dollar conglomerate - so the least they could do is offer in HD.

Willow is not bad at all - it looks pretty flawless on my TV.
 
Apparently so on Twitter it's been going round for a good few hours now that this series won't be showing on NZ's YouTube channel and that in the UK it will be on BT Sports.

Its the frame rate on Willow that sucks. Sports require 60 fps for smooth playback otherwise it will look choppy as hell like Willow or YouTube broadcast. I doubt Willow broadcast even at 30fps. Their tech support also is incompetent.

I agree with the tech support of Willow - it feels non existent almost.

I barely get to see any live games - so it sucks that ESPN+ has no highlights. But I understand it, because out of all the sports programmes offered by ESPN+ - cricket probably occupies less than 1% of their space (their only cricket programming is New Zealand international home games).
 
Was so happy last night when I found out that BT sports is showing it here in UK

Is the second T20 in the UK on BT at 6am as well? as of now the schedule is not showing it and I can’t find the highlights of the 1st game on the app, usually it uploads the Big Bash and Test Series fairly swiftly
 
NewZealand cricket official youtube channel live broadcasting the matches. Super smooth and very good quality without any ad breaks or streaming break downs.

It is at 6am and should be on BT aswell like the first one

Enjoying it on ESPN+ in the US. Always fun when a cricket series is on a channel rather than having to rely on shady streams
 
Any reason why there are no Pakistani commentators for this series? Not that we’re missing them but usually you’d have the other team represented in the booth.
