Despite the thumping win in the first test, India must be very wary of becoming complacent.

Australia have the ability to come back like wounded tigers. Just like India did in Australia in 2020. India suffered similar comebacks from England in 2012 and SA in 2006.

Australia can easily draw inspiration from India when they were bowled out for 20odd losing the test match and then coming back to take the series.

This series is by no means over.......

It is over. Australia at best will take one match to 4 or 5 days and lose. Cummins is a soft captain more concerned with the environment than cricket. Only Marnus and Smith are great Test players the other 9 are mediocre or past it.

Its not over. Not over by a big mile. Australia will come back all guns blazing at Delhi.

India hasn't lost a test match in Delhi in 36 years. Australia has got the best chance to do a comeback.

I expect Aus to do better in other matches.

Here they unnecessarily put pressure on themselves by talking about pitch this and pitch that. Just go there and perform. Stop thinking and talking about pitch.

Australia will be better in coming matches.
They need Starc to fire in 148-150 kmph range full and straight to clean up India's lower order resistance. Lyon Todd to take care of the rest.
One or may be both the openers need to be replaced by Handscomb and Labu to tackle Ashwin with the new ball.
Need to get Head and Green in.
And focus less on pitch and more on the ball.

No chance, with the kind of rank turners India will dish out, an Australia team of 10 batsmen alone will also struggle to reach 300. On the kind of doctored pitches India prepares, no team can compete with India. Indian team has one relative strength and that's they plan spin well in Indian conditions and they have exploited it to almost an abusive level. Baring the spin, there's no other dimension that exists in Indian tests.

How is it Australia's best chance when India haven't lost there for that long as you've mentioned??

I think he meant it’s just like Gabba which was considered a fortress for 35-36 years before India won there - so a similar chance for Australia.

Series in the bag for India. Australia will not recover.

There's no way this soft politically correct Aussie team will pull out a miracle ala Eng 12 or India 21. Simply no chance. The only way they can avoid a defeat is if mother nature pours her blessing or somehow a non spinning track is prepared. The possibility of the second happening is absolutely zero. Indians will not mess up with their success formula. As for the first one, well there seems to be no sign of rain happening, but Aussies can pray.

This Indian side is all over Australia mentally. Australians are terrible in spinning conditions, even a low ranked Sri Lanka were able to beat them in a test match at home. That series against Pakistan was an anomaly thanks to Pakistan producing dead wickets and playing with a scared to lose mindset.

Why are you trying to make sound soooo dramatic when you know the series is done due to India cheating with the pitch-doctoring and ball-tampering? Grow up

Its possible if India doesn't rectify batting issues. Lower order is doing rescue act far too often. Gill , Iyer etc should be given chance.
For Australia , they need Smith to stay in for a long time.

Iyer is injured.

Gill has to open. KL has no place in the team.
