The “leadership” in Delhi wanted American financier and sex offender Jeffery Epstein to connect businessman Anil Ambani to U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner and Republican strategist Steve Bannon, Mr. Ambani had claimed, according to messages to Epstein in March 2017, that were released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ). The meetings requested were to have prepared the ground for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the U.S. in June 2017.


The External Affairs Ministry, which denied comments by Epstein alleging he assisted on Mr. Modi’s visit to Israel in July 2017 as “trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal” on Saturday, did not respond to requests for a comment on the latest mails about the U.S. visit.

Left wing papers are going after Starmer too. He is in the unfortunate situation of being deeply unpopular amongst both the left and the right. He's been dealt a crap hand but is quite indecisive at times.
