We keep saying the UAE wickets are ruining our batsmens ability to play proper shots and that pitches are dull and slow.

Yes the Pakistani bowling has been very poor, but batsmen who are trying to get on with it have no issues at all. Pakistan itself have had 3 centurians and the Aussies are unstopable.

Blaming only the pitches for low scores in past is probably unfair no?

It was always the case. The last time England toured UAE should have been enough evidence for the fans who use this 'attritional batting' excuse for some of their favourite players.

That's why we would have lost 4-1 something in Pakistan as well considering how small and dead the wickets in Karachi, Lahore are.

In UAE our spinners + pacers still have a chance but in Pak our bowling would have been annihilated.

People will come up with every excuse under the sun, but they will not acknowledge the fact that we are simply not good enough.

Wait for Chief Destroyer to lecture you again on how 270 - 280 is an out of this world, amazing total in a batting paradise of Sharjah, plus rest of the UAE as well.

It's about Mickey getting it totally wrong when it comes to batting tactics. Not pressing batsmen enough to maintain a good strike rate.

Have always maintained that UAE pitches are only an excuse. Pakistani players are just simply not good enough to score 300+ consistently. They will not score 300 at Trent Bridge or Bangalore 9 times out of 10.

It's Pakistan who plays at 2 rpo in test cricket in the UAE whereas if India was playing there, 3.4 would've been the norm. Would Dhawan, Shaw, Kohli bat at 33 SR like Azhar Ali and Haris Sohail. Never in a million years.

Mediocre bunch of batsmen who are relying on fate to secure them the world cup.

First match over 300 in the series and you're beating your chest? You end up making yourself look stupid, I don't even need to respond.

Australia had it easy.

Pakistan's biggest problem is Sarfraz doesn't have control over the team. He is just an on the field captain.

All the calls are made by Mickey and Mickey being AUstralia (or SOuth Africa)goes by the aussi concept.

THen we have Inzamam bhai, if anyone watched inzamam during his career, the guy always went with pacers, even if it was a faisalabad wicket. He never played 2 spinners.

You go to UAE, you take 2 spinners with you. Simple as that.

Imad Waseem is not a spinner, Yasir Shah is and he performed bad.

Pakistan should had packed, Asghar and Zafar Gohar with them. Infact, even Raza Hasan should had been taken on the tour.
Imad waseem was a good option, but only as a third spinner.

You take 1 god damn spinner, and what do you expect?

However i will add that Mickey's strategy will work in England, Australia, NZ or SOuth Africa.

Blame also lies on Sarfraz ahmed, becuase as a captain, he should be forcing his say in building the team he wants for the world cup.

This team is just not good enough to compete with top teams. Not interested in excuses of slow pitches or main players missing.

The series was lost due to a lack of a good spin bowler and slow starts from the openers that's why you need to go hard from the top Fakhar and Akmal is the ideal combo to give match winning starts.

Dont know how Flower has managed to stay in the setup for years despite horrible batting lapses.
