match start tmoz @ 0700am uk time. last tiem round S.Africa hammered england 6-1. england are on a high after 1st test series win in S.Africa since 1964/5. Will england avenge their last ODI SERIES LOSS?

or will win the series and gain some confidence?

please place thoughts and updates here please!
Looking forward to this match especially to see the response KP receives from the Jo'burg crowd and the SA players. It's gonna be hostile!
My ideal England team for tomorrow:

1 Trescothick
2 Strauss
3 Vaughan (capt)
4 Bell
5 Pietersen
6 Collingwood
7 Jones (wkt)
8 Giles
9 Ali
10 Gough
11 Hoggard

Still doubts over Harmison's fitness, Hoggard is the man in form, Ali and Gough both bowled well in the warm-up match.
"[Pietersen] enjoys the attention, but we will just have to knock him over early. It will be easier to have him sitting in the changing-room and then we will not get banned if we abuse him."
Graeme Smith
latest score --> South Africa 5/2 (3.3 ov) in trouble 19/3 off 9.1

hoggard has 2 wkts now...bowling superbly agen!
Adam Bacher's selection was the worst form of nepotisticc selection that I have seen. The guy comes into the Protea side 7 years after his flop with batting average of 26 !

His father has dimissed shouts of nepotism as 'anti-semitic' statements. Well if this is anti-semitic then I am anti-semitic
sa have a real bits n pieces side on offer today something woolmer would like
South Africa 92/7 (34.1 ov)

Bowling O M R W
Gough 6 2 7 1 (1w)
Hoggard 7 2 20 2
Ali 6 1 13 2
Collingwood 7 0 21 0 (2w)
Trescothick 5.1 0 16 0 (1nb)
Giles 3 0 7 2

gr8 bowling figures all round
Some very good accurate bowler by Kabir Ali

Pollock and Boje have bailed South Africa previously from similar positions.
England 46/3 (15 ov)

Vaughan looking to calm a frenetic situation down.

South Africa right back in this game.
There was a bit in it earlier but from the sounds of things it's been good bowling and sustained pressure that has brought wickets.
KP slashes Nel for four.

Nel has gone a bit wild here, over-excited since KP has come to the crease.
Nel is stupid.looks like a homeless has picked in the side.the way his behaviours r
Vaughan does a sensational piece of footwork to kick the ball away from his stumps after it rebounded backwards from a defensive shot!
Vaughan clips Kemp's first ball for a boundary.

20 overs have been bowled so we have a match.
People running on the pitch. DJ Otzi "Hey Baby" being belted out!
Luvely Jubely :eek:D
Match have been abandoned due to rain. England are the winners by
26 runs under the D/L method
Interesting to see the balance of the England team. 6 batsmen, a keeper, spinner and 3 quicks. sound familiar?
Yes, a good start.

Geraint Jones will be given a long run opening the batting according to Vaughan.
