On This Day: September 23, 1971 - Moin Khan was born

Moin played 69 Tests and 219 ODIs for Pakistan between 1990 and 2004, scoring 6000+ international runs including four Test hundreds; he often playing an important role down the order including a quickfire 20* against New Zealand in the all-important 1992 World Cup semi-final. He went on to captain the side, albeit with limited success - he was the captain when Pakistan lost their first Test at Karachi, against England in 2000.
