"Our main batters are prioritizing personal milestones leaving behind the team": Mohammad Wasim

Former Chief Selector speaking in an interview:

"Since the past five years, if you look at the stats from 40 to 50 and then from 90 to 100, our main batters are prioritizing personal milestones leaving behind the team, and that's the issue, and that causes us the matches. In the past, I saw our main batters score five-five centuries in a single game, but faced white-wash in that ODI series even after scoring 200-300 runs"

"Success in cricket often hinges on adapting to changing circumstances. In the previous ODI series against Australia, Pakistan's batters demonstrated this by elevating their strike rates from 70 to 100, resulting in a hard-earned victory"

"As we look ahead to the upcoming series, it remains to be seen whether they will continue with the same technique. One thing is certain, however, until the ICC rankings remain in the equation and the system, things wouldn't draw any decent solution"

Interesting how someone turns off the mute button on these dummies and they turn on the same players they so viciously defended from all criticism.

This is the same guy who said “I’m not breaking up the best opening pair in the world!!!” Even though these same issues existed when he was chief selector.

But now all of a sudden he can see the light.

Shut up, no one cares. You had your chance and other than your PowerPoints, you showed nothing.

There is no doubt that babar and rizwan look more interested to score 50s and 100s rather than winning matches. I have experienced same as whenever they are near their 50 and 100, they slows down which break the momentum and put extra pressure on the batter at the other end. I have been following each and every match since babar made debut and in almost all his games found him getting slow when he near his 50 or 100 irrespective of match condition.

Najam sethi has done well in breaking this chain. In ramiz's term, the group of these so called superstars was on high and looked unbreakable. Najam has done quite well in unsettling them and making them fight for their positions which will eventually benefits pak team

I guess you can see the light now that you are not paid to have a blindfold over your eyes

Imam doing this now... picked up by the TV Comms as well.

Babar Azam in a recent interview on this subject:

“I have never focused on individual milestones. My focus has always been to deliver for the team and give such performances that win matches for my team. When you play with that goal, you achieve milestones along the way. The aim should always be to give impactful performances. These milestones and records are by-products of that mentality,”

“I do not have any personal ambition. What I want is to strive for the country’s success. I have never focused on achieving one record or the other. These things come with performance. But my main aim has always been to win the matches and tournaments for the country and make my performance count,”

Khuda ko Haazir Naazir rakh Rizwan!!

As if he doesn’t have personal milestones in his mind!!

“Fakhar Zaman ki change Imam ki change hai….”

This is more confusing than the Zodiac z13 cypher

After achieving the landmark and 7,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and becoming the first player ever to do so, Star India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli said that it is just another milestone in his mission of doing what he is trying to do for his team, that is to win matches.

==

This is the way to treat these milestones.

But he's not done it. He hasn't won anything in the IPL.

Mission Impossible turned to Mission Mangal.

All talk Mickey

You didn’t change the opening pair. You know cricket. You let them do what suited them
