I think the work is more mental than physical. We have a mental block against the Saffies and we just need to overcome that. otherwise 191 is not a total to worry off.

I've see Pak fizzle out for under 160 chasing a target at headingley not too long ago....

me, scared??? yes very!

Man i am so nervous ...there is this strange feeling that i have which i have since yesterday ...really hate this feeling ...hope pak pulls this one off..it will be an amazing victory if pak does that ...really really nervous
hope pak wins Insallah !

This is how I see it:

Bat first 15 overs without losing a wicket = Win the game.

I think we can win it. The way I figure it, this should be the minimum contribution from our batsmen:

Hafeez: 20 runs
Farhat: 20 runs
Yasir: 20 runs
Younis: 40 runs
Yousuf: 45 runs
Inzi: 46 runs

Shouldn't be too hard, eh?

*slaps himself and mutters "back to work, idiot"!*

Inzi must be the best, as he scores one more then Moyo :D

OMG work in Pakistan :))) :)) ................ Just kidding siab.

I am nervous Very Very Nervous.. Can't type as my hands are all trembling. Seen enough collapses from Pakistan to be in a comfort zone. And most of the time it has been chasing low scores.. I hope that the experience of Younis, Yousuf and Inzi sees us through, however it won't hurt if the openers manage the score by themselves...

19/0

3 more runs to hafeez
and double to Farhat

Pak openers should play normal postive cricket and they should b fine.

This is going to be a massive thrashing.

Not watching it live, but Farhat looked like he was getting bogged down...

Well Saf need 2 more this session if they're gonna give themselves a chance....

Good move to send Hameed at 3

4 wickets before a hundred is game on for sure...

Hate to say this, Saffer, but your okes are out of luck here...

A poor test for Farhat, and Pollock has Hafeez on the ropes.

This is an important hour or so of the game. If South Africa can get MoYo in before the ball totally loses its shine then it could be their chance of victory.

Does anybody ever bother about the future of Pakistani bating. Not a single consistent new batsman to come out since the days of MoYo and YK. How many more chances would this Farhat guy need? Ntini had told him in the previous overs that he would get him outside th off, behind the stumps. We had all seen it coming and this guy had to play a weak shot in that area. If a new batsman wants to prove himself, today is the day. Otherwise they should all be ditched for a new crop of emerging batsmen. Today should be the make or break day for Hafeez and Hameed. Well Hameed is gone now. Crap!

I sense Hameed will be out soon.

so the down fall starts ,man why is that pakistani's always make things harder then they are ??????? on themselves.

Hmm, he just ran himself out. He looked a bit all over the place.

relax guys...you still got a very powerful middle order ....but a run out....?

ouch!!!

These guys never fail to make it interesting - England in green!

I think Hafeez has proven himself more so then Hameed and Farhat, this guy atleast is able to get 20 some odd runs before getting himself out, if he plays a long innings today he should gain confidence and start to turn into a solid player for Pakistan.

The future of Pak batting is as dark as that of Indian bowling. Nothing changes there!

Let's leave the Farhat debate until after the outcome.

Then it's gloves off. Mods be prepared if we lose today.

Hate to say this, Saffer, but your okes are out of luck here...

Nel gets a direct hit is as lucky as you get....

If Pakistan don't panic it should still be easy....but I am smelling a bit of panic....

What I love most about cricket is the psychological factors....self doubt perpetuates bad results...

Not to worry peeps, this is just our team putting on a show....:D

once again we have to rely on our middle order and hope for them to come through,,, this gets really uncomfortable becuase if those middle 3 wickets are taken we all know we have nothing in the tail we might say we have 8 but we all really know we have 3 left.

Presumably Akhtar will be 'absent ill' so 7 wickets remain.

Hafeez doesnt do too well, playing slowly and defensively like YK he needs to play his game and remain in his comfort zone, he is a stroke player not defensive batsman, part of the reason why he always seems to get out in the 20's.

under such situations, I go for a 2 - 3 hour sleep and come back and hope things are fine. he he

Guys keep the score updated.. Plz.. for the benefit for those who aren't watching..
