PAK vs WI....2nd test match Day 5!

Today is the day we find out how good is Inzi as a captain and what our batsmen are made of ,W.I will come out firing on all cyliders and at firstwould try to dislodge Moh Yousuf and Imran Farhat and then to demolish the rest.
The battle to survive begains in 10 minutes.
 
Geez this will be hard, following two matches. I'll have to follow this one on Cricinfo while watching the first Ashes Test. I still think this will end up as a draw unless Pak can quickly overhaul the WI target.
 
D Mohammed bowled the 1st over.......i reckon Lara wants to keep Colly and Taylor fresh for the 2nd new ball

Farhat looking good. Though I don't know how safe it is to say that.

But excellent stuff by Yousuf.
 
This Farhat bloke is looking pretty good - I didn't really rate him before this. As for MoYo, I reckon he's set to make another double ton. By all accounts he's had a Bradmanesque year with 1400-odd runs - amazing when you consider his previous best was about 830 or something.
 
What's the record for most doubles in a year?
 
Its 3 I think. Ponting had 3 in 2003 and I think Bradman managed it some time
 
Yousuf has missed 3 double tons this year(172 vs IND, 190odd vs ENG and 192 in the 1st test) and has only scored 1( at lords)

yaar I dont like him. I hate him as much as tendu and + I want WI to win this match. I want this test series to result as draw.
 
good move by LAra, bowling with 2 spinners so he can finish remaining 10-12 overs with old ball ASAP and then attack with new ball.

Pakistan is my home country but on the other hand I cant see LARA loose as a batsman or as a captain.

you can say in cricket LARA comes before Pakistan.

Inzi was run out there IMO. got lucky! needs to start concentrating more on grounding that bat!

Yes...but only when seen after a few years of the incident because right now we are all very serious :| ....and don't want any comedy!

He needs a little under 300 runs I think. If he scores another 16 runs and gets his hundred then he'll match Viv Richards for most centuries in a calendar year (7) with a chance to overtake him in Karachi.

A bit of healthy competition always does one good.
 
man this collymore guy is quite fit.....he bowled for 2 hours stright in the 1st innings and even then he was still getting the ball to talk
 
5.2 Collymore to Yousuf, no run, loud shout for a caught behind this time, Yousuf was trying to defend on the front foot, but the ball nips in sharply, kisses the top of the pads and goes to the keeper!

Two sexy drives there, yousuf so good to watch when he's playing well.
 
85.2 Collymore to Mohammad Yousuf, no run, peach of a delivery. Beats Yousuf all hands up. It lands on a length, just outside the off stump and jags back in. yousuf leans forward and ends up pushing outside the line but is beaten by the inward movement. They go up in appeal for a catch but that just whizzed through the bat and pad gap

Yep, he's on 5 - a double against SA in the Sydney Test, another double at Kingsmead and a fighting ton against Bangladesh that saved us from an ignominious defeat.
