Pakistan (135/3) crowned champions of the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 after defeating Kuwait (96) by 43 runs in the final

Very proud moment for Pakistan.and congratulations to all the Pak team fans. All these players surely deserve a place in T20 World cup xi.Slowly cricket glory is coming back to Pakistan. 2-1 over SA team and now this Hong Kong Chakka tournament. Well done

Even though this tournament is worthless, it is good to see Pakistan win something for a change. Our mentally weak players have lost so many finals in recent years that I have lost count, so it’s good to see them win a final after what seems like an eternity.

Those are ICC sanctioned tournaments.

Hong Kong sixes has as much validity as gully cricket in my neighbourhood.

It is we who own you in cricket - men’s, women’s, u19
 
One of the greatest sport based spectacle in Hong Kong. A win like this can inspire and motivate an entire city if not a country to take up cricket as a sport and become a mainstay team in it. Don’t be surprised if HK or China due to inspiration are in a WC knock out few years down the line

It is a good fun tournament but there should be something for the bowlers as well. Maybe if they can find another venue with longer boundaries and play some proper cricket.
 
Watching Uthappa live with Jarrod Kimber. Someone asked a question how do they select teams for Hongkong sixes. Uthappa clarified it is not selected by BCCI. It is selected by Honkong cricket board. They have a small budget for each team. Guys like DK! Uthappa try to be reasonable with their demand. India will never send active players as per Uthappa. I think Uthappa brings in his buddies like chipli I think.

Uthappa and DK are recent players and probably still playing IPL. You make it sound like they retired 50 years ago just because India got humiliated by Kuwait lol
 
If Pakistanis are celebrating HK Sixes five days after the event, it doesn’t say anything about Indian cricket… it just shows how far Pakistan cricket has fallen when this is the only trophy left to flex.

No they aren’t.

But they both won in 07 and are T20 champs unlike Rizwan.
 
In all seriousness, this year's victory is worth 3 HK titles in the past. It was very impressive feat from Pakistan, one thats put them right back in title contention for ICC events once again. The resurgence is real.
