So apparently post SCG Test, Misbah said that even the 1999 Pakistan team got whitewashed in Australia.

And the Pakistan 1999 team players have just been losing it at this

Shoaib, Rashid and M.Wasim were part of that side and in the PTV show so all took aims. Leading the way was he host. Rashid seemed most calm lol.

I find that statement very un-Misbah like.

Generally after a loss, he been like "We needed to be better","We are repeating same mistakes again" or "We couldn't handle pressure". This time maybe because of his own form, he felt the need to rationalize the defeat.

The 90s team was a bunch of losers, I'm afraid, esp. in Tests.

Had no mental strength, couldn't dominate ANYWHERE, not even at home, lost to even Zimbabwe at home, couldn't have any unbeaten streak.

There was a lot of talent in there, but no application or real wow-worthy results. In comparison Misbah's team has done a lot lot better and is second only to IK.

MoYo needs to be told this as well.

1 loss doesn't make it embarrassing, when his entire career has only resulted in Pak gaining respect and wonderful results.

At least, better than the 90s team, and second to only IK.

Misbah has had a terrific career and a loss in Australia was always the most obvious thing of the year. We had chances to draw two of the tests to be fair and the batsmen let us down, that's not Misbah's fault. I think it would be best for him to retire but even if he decides to continue, he should, he's earned that right. It's his decision. With all the respect he's won us, I doubt anyone else could've.

Think he was talking about tests. The 90's team post Miandad and Saleem Malik was horrible at tests and lost to Zimbabwe, NZ and SL.
