The bottom line is that we need to get 350 on the board most innings.

If we bat long, there is an opening against these three; a bit like we had against Hales, Vince and Ballance.

I back our bowlers in keeping these three down. This can help us in piling the pressure on Australia.

Handscomb is quite capable and seems a fighter. We can exploit his deep stance or he will announce himself this series. Either case is possible. The other two are very much exploitable.

Agree with Chief bhai, Handscombe seems decent. Maddinson and Renshaw weakness can be exploited.

I've not seen any of the three bat yet.

If Handscomb has a deep batting stance, it is imperative to bowl full at off-stump. If the ball moves in the air or off the seam, he's in trouble.

I saw handscomb bat. That's a pretty weird stance, but yes agree with the others on this thread, he has a lot of heart

More than that.

Every ball to Handscomb needs to be bowled 6 inches outside off-stump, by a quick bowler.
No spin.
No bouncers.

Is this akin to the kind of ploy Australia had to Trescothick where he often squirted the ball in the air to fully due to not moving his feet?

Either all 3 of them will announce themselves into international cricket this series or at least one would if not all 3 and it could well be Handscomb as he's the one to watch out for.

We've been appalling but credit to Australia for giving youngsters especially Renshaw and Maddinson a go.

At least, Aus is ready to give youngsters a go and even if it is against a tough opposition (albeit Pak have been hammered).

In Pak, the seniors have to play against even Zim and the worst thing of all, they lose and nothing is gained.

Dispatched of Maddinson easily, 2 youngster beauties have done well and look good talents going forward.

Of the 3, one has an average of 63 and the other 90 in this series against Pakistan. A bit optimistic to think of "an opening".
