Pakistan succumbing to home pressure?

For a while they havent played at home and in front of a full house but looks to me that playing at home is creating pressure they arent used to!

How else can we explain their current situation?
 
They took the 'home' term literally and started playing like LQ. :ua

Probably that is the case mixed with the fact that you have some players underperforming. Then there is Shehzad and Akmal and both seem like dead weight in the team at the moment.

This Sri Lankan "B team" is also playing much better than expected.
 
They have succumbed to the fact that they are simply not good enough.

Poor team selection plays a part. Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad. I’m glad they proved their worth again!
 
I was not in favor of Misbah ul Haq in any capacity in Pakistan Cricket but now that he has been appointed, it is only fair to give him time
 
This is legit embarrassment. Thankfully 90% of the cricketing world is not interested in this series so the embarrassment will be brushed aside. Bravo, lads!

Do you know how stupid you sound right now we beat newzeland england Australia infact wrecked all of them 11 straight series win is no fluke or illusion u hater. You’re the only one that’s in some kind of illusion because now that we’ve just lost one series after so long you found your voice back. The South Africa series was very close if not for shinwaris bowling we lost by small margins. Where was this energy when Pakistan was beating every team you were saying oh they haven’t played India yet everyone else isn’t even good in t20s lmao. You’re the definition of a hater and liar I feel sad for you I really do.

Yes 11 series win in a row was a illusion and winning 26 out of 32 games was a illusion. If it was India or England with this record you would be hyping them.

Thanks to Misbah and his pathetic selections for this embarrassment.
 
Pakistan made two blunders in that game:

1) They won the toss and fielded first. They generally suck at chasing and hence it was a blunder.

2) Shehzad and Akmal shouldn't have played.

Home pressure shouldn't be a thing. Home team should always have advantage.

The only reason we had an unbeaten streak was because we didn’t play India, and we only played 1 match against England. A proper series against either of these two sides and wouldn’t be boasting about our fake success.

So what we played England in a 1 game. We beat them when it mattered just like in Champions Trophy and just like in the World Cup. And so what we have beaten Indian in bileteral series many times so stop your excuses. And yes other teams don't matter its only 2 teams in the World that's it.

Main thing is its a new team management and it will take bit of time for them to understand how to handle this team and players. Players were also used to Mickey, Azhar and Grant for 2-3 years now. Its not at all uncommon for new management taking bit of time to settle in even for other teams. We saw when Langer started with Aus in recent times.

I would have liked to have a new captain as well so that this initial honeymoon period was for everything at once.

Lol mamoon yaar tum baaz nahin atey you literally just proved my point I said you would have said we haven’t played India. That is most stupid thing I’ve ever heard. Ok so we didn’t play India we still are better than every other team because we beat all of them but you can’t even admit that just admit you’re extremely hurt over the past 11 series winning streak but after a couple of series lost and now you’re raging again. I seriously pity you but it’s ok we’re still number one , hater. Hate all you want rankings don’t lie.
 
Perhaps took SL too light. Pakistan is a not an elite team that will demolish weaker teams even in their sleep. Some shocking results from an average team are not unexpected.
 
We aren’t good enough. Most teams are strong at home in this era, but now we are using pressure of playing at home as a excuse?
 
I assume many Pakistanis would have desperately wanted to hear this. Succumbing to home pressure. Remember there was no home for 10 years. There is no loss, guilt or shame in this series. Pakistan should enjoy every second of it.
 
The World Cup had more pressure and they did okay there. So no its the coaching and selectors fault.
 
No, no! We would have been bashed even more in Sri Lanka against their first team. Just not good enough I am afraid.
