Lmao, what a terrible keeper this Usman guy is. It honestly can’t get any easier than that, yet Usman still managed to miss it. His supporters clearly struggle to read or understand the game. This is international cricket, not some weekend club level stuff where you pick any available keeper just to get through the day.
 
Very good batting Mishara on this very tough track. Good catches Babar - hoping those catches would be confidence boosters.

The pitch is awful for T20 and more suited for an ODI

If there’s one batter in recent times who has shown any consistency, it’s Farhan and he simply isn’t a keeper. If you force him into that role, whatever batting form he has will disappear. None of these stop gap ideas are actual solutions. The only real solution is Rizwan. If someone truly wants Pakistan to win at any cost, then they have to accept that there is no one better than Rizwan. No other keeper in Pakistan even comes close.

Yes thats true but Farhan can easily keep for 20 overs he is bettee than usman as usman is a hack
 
@Rana Try discussing cricket for once and present actual cricketing reasons instead of the usual nonsense. But I guess expecting that from you is always too much to ask. Anyway, carry on with your hate and irrelevant comments

If Hasranga can't bat against spin, this pitch would not be easy to chase score over 135 against 12 + spin overs
 
Absolutely one thing i will say surely Pak could have started with spin then the start they had was a no go i feel thia pitch is spinning too much for ua
 
Pakistan should just packed their team with all spinners since world cup is in sri lanka they will win it if they don't play so called pace bowlers spinners are world class of pakistan usman tariq is sitting in dug out thats the strength of pakistan spin.

You haven’t worked out how these snakes operate

They are continuously hunting for small opportunities to break in and plant their ‘waswasa’ in the minds of people. Looking for a ‘missed stumping’, faint edge missed by keeper to tell you that Rizwan is the best option in T20s

Don’t fall prey to their rubbish by saying “unfortunately this is right”. It’s not! No one needs a 100% perfect keeper in T20s! You need the T20 batter first!
 
Pity Russel Arnold, he has to maintain professionalism, keep his emotions in check while witnessing his team put on such a shambolic show with the bat after a commanding position.

I got it completely. Let me be clear which I have said before, I am ABSOLUTELY against having Babar and Rizwan in T20s. Usman also needs to go. Those are the 3 most useless in this squad. However, I am also against Salman in T20s who should be captaining ODIs.
 
An all-time collapse from Sri Lanka. Heck of a performance from the bowlers in the 2nd half of the innings.

At least 12 spin overs to make it exciting. Pakistan would need to be careful playing in PP. Just play as an ODI
 
ICC can do one on Pakistan by ensuring the pitches in Colombo and Kandy are absolute roads.
 
Observation from this series

One out of Rauf or Naseem to be dropped from the Wt20 squad , I'd take Naseem more of a team player than Rauf.

Faheem Ashraf is he the allrounder we require, Can WasimJr. Fit in his role remains to be seen ?

Do we need a 2nd keeper for WT20 or will Farhan deputise in case of emergency

Babar and Agha two accumulators batting together is it good for team

How many spinners can we fit into 11

Nawaz is definitely a top 6 batsmen , mgmt has to open its eyes

The bigger issue is ensuring the semis and final are played in India and not even a single one in Sri Lanka

Anyone who claims they care about Pakistan winning should understand what actually helps the team. The reality is simple: there is no better keeper batsman in the country than Mohammad Rizwan, and the decision makers need to swallow their pride and accept that.

My reply was removed even though it contained no personal attacks. All I said was that posters should try discussing actual cricket instead of making irrelevant or nonsensical comments. Meanwhile, Rana’s post which was personal and unrelated to cricket remains untouched.
 
That’s why I do my best to avoid engaging with Rana. He rarely discusses cricket on its merits and instead focuses on off topic comments and personal digs, which adds nothing to the conversation.

I’ve only discussed cricket without getting personal with anyone, yet I’m the one getting this strange treatment while trolls are openly supported despite their personal comments. It’s honestly upsetting and discouraging for anyone who tries to contribute regularly. I genuinely have no idea what’s been going on here for a long time now. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
 
If the team here feels that my presence is a problem, they can simply let me know and I will step away. It’s disheartening because this used to be a great site that truly encouraged proper cricket discussion, but things have changed dramatically. I’ve genuinely enjoyed being part of this community and have contributed here for nearly two decades, which makes the current situation even more disappointing.
 
Theekshana look too frustrated. Instead of getting riled up by umpiring decisions, he should be appreciating them - the only reason they are in the final is for umpiring error :)
