Will watch Pakistan bat only to have a look at Maqsood. Have heard great things about the youngster.

So any Pakistani friend can tell me how is he like..... attacking or well composed YK type?
 
260 on the Abu Dhabi wicket was achievable, on this wicket its almost out of reach.

Factor in that Umar Amin is playing, and yeah it's going to be tough

he is attacking but has the ability to use brain unlike many Pakistan sloggers aka Afridi Akmal etal

I think he should be sent up the order. Looking at the last match scorecard on Cricinfo, he seemed to be at ease against Steyn/ Tsotsobe.

Similar to a more conservative/technically better Yusuf Pathan on first look.

he is Ok! Pakistan fans got a little excited as he can play a few shots. Overall only just decent.

3 trundlers and useless Peterson.

Pak cannot choke against these trundlers. Philander/Tsotsobe/Parnell?? More like Vinay/Dinda/Ishant in Dubai conditions.
 
i am highly pessimistic about this. We cannot even chase 190, let alone this mammoth target

This kind of complacency will lose a lot of games.

Because yes, there's a fine line between positive/confident and complacent.

Are you seriously comparing Lambu Ghoda and Veenay koooomar with them? They are of a different class altogether man.....
 
Tough chase for Pakistan.

268 is well out of their reach. Its not that Pakistan can't come close but how many times have we seen Pakistan choking.

Hafeez as an opener and Afridi coming 5 down is cancerous.
 
The real Question is how much will Akmal score today?

The stage is perfect for him. Series is lost. No pressure.

Expect him to hit a robust half century today.
 
Bassim umar akmal has won matches for pak in pressure situations. Last series he did it. Check the record before typing nonsense.

If this was Eng or Aus or SA, I would say Philander/Tsotsobe are in a different class than our trundlers.

This is Dubai and trundlers like Philander should get no mercy.

I wish Shehzad runs out Hafeez for once. The amount of times Hafeez has sold down his opening partner down the river and then get out himself soon after.
 
Hafeez is looking extremely dangerous out there. Dangerous for Pakistan, looks like he wants to play another laborious 5(213) before spooning a simple catch.
 
watching Hafeez as opener is funny , and even more funny is he was being used as number 3 by our Great coach and captain
