Pakistan v West Indies | 3rd Test | Sharjah | Oct 30-Nov 3, 2016 | Day 5

This looks a bit tricky for Pakistan to escape unscathed. If they do so it will be a good jailbreak scenario.
 
I simply cannot see a scenario where West Indies can lose this match.
 
Misbah's last match at UAE and he gets such result

Match will be finished in 4 overs!!!! Don't have any support bowlers for Yasir
 
Amir is not as he was used to be as a bowler!!!!! 5 years lap destroyed his ability. Really disappointed
 
WI deserve to win here. They've played better cricket than us in the one format no one expected them to perform in.

It has been a combination of complacency from the Pakistanis and good cricket from the WI.

Although we have won the series, there is a grain of salt from this loss. We are still a top test team but we didn't play like one this series. Despite winning the series, the players have seemed uninterested or unmotivated against the WI. Still, not taking anything away from how the WI have played. Also, we need to figure out the playing XI quickly for NZ.

Whatever said and done, Pak have been well short of their best this series. How the windies would have loved to bag that first test.
 
This is good for world cricket.

Where's the fun if Pakistan had beaten the West Indies 3-0?
 
If WI can beat us at one of the tests at OUR home, give us an extremely tough time in the first test, and taking the second test to an almost draw, them beating us at their home is very, very likely.
 
Well done to the West Indies. Commiserations to all wrist slitters and the ignorant bunch who underestimated them.

Not sure about Misbah or Younis but agreed, will be interesting comp. WI will have momentum from this win againt us tho...
 
Amir needs to be spend a season or two in domestic cricket. He is not ready for it. Sadaf should replace Amir. Hopefully he will be back soon

I think so..maybe a bit earlier

Younis and Misbah may still hang around, you never know espeically Younis as is very very fit
 
Holder's first test win as captain and he actively performed in it. Wonderful.

Hopefully, this will lead to betterment of cricket in West Indies in the longer formats.
 
From a rankng perspective, these are the losses which hurt you the most. Pakistan may lose 3 points for this loss, would have lost 4-5 points for loss vs Zimbabwe a couple of years back. In one cycle thats 7-8 points lost pushing you down the ranking.
 
Finally I feel good about our performance in WI. They are certainly not as bad a team as India made them look like. Well done WI.
