They've got bunch of funny sounding names, those Windies.
DJ Sammy,Best,McCLEAN.. :))) ...Roach(cockroack)..Tonge..:p

They're pretty lucky that the Pakistan team doesnt know much about them.:|
And they all know pretty much a lot about the Pakistani team.

No matter what the pitch is, we should win.

Pitch report form Shaun Pollock, will be a typical SA pitch with seam and bounce, some grass on it, wont get a high score like yesterday.

We are good enough to win I would love for us to get this wicket against India with Asif in the side but want to bet that wont happen

Neither would i write off the windies because they have a better team than the Irish.

For those watching on Willow, switch to source 3,

they have a view of the stadium slowly filling up.

I can hear someone in the background, calling Mianwali Mianwali and talking in Punjabi, what is this?

Oh,
the bowl tends to do more under lights in RSA

Can anyone put up our team. Wanna know if Asifs in or not

This is okay, the pitch is a green top apparently?

:afridi looking kool :)

he is very happy to bowl 1st. Trusts his bowlers and want to play aggressive cricket because "We are the Champions"

Did Shahid engulf the coin with his size 27 boot upon losing the toss?

And destroy it? Crushed into dust?

Toss - West Indies have won and opted to bat. Floyd Reifer leads an inexperienced outfit but he has his chin up ahead of a tough few games. The toss result doesn't matter to Afridi, he says he doesn't mind bowling first. " We all want to play like Champions," he says. There's no Kemar Roach for West Indies, that's the news on the team front.

No Mohammad Asif for today. Tbh, I am a little bit worried because Nazir and Akmal opening under lights chasing a tricky total doesn't fill me with confidence

No asif in the side, no Alam too. The usual side we expected.

All oldies playing and umer Akmal in too.

No asif, hmm

Now it'll be even more risky bringing him in againt India or Australia first up in what could be a knock out match.
We should keep him on the sidelines for the whole tourney now

If the pitch is as green as people here are hyping it up, they won't be chasing under lights.

Man I loved the tone of :afridi on toss. I'm so excited for this, finally watching him as the captain of Pakistan ODI team.

Afridi isn't worried about bowling first.

Also, Bob Willis thinks that with the Windies batting first Pakistan should wrap this game up quickly.

Don't wanna sound over confident but I hope he's right.

Imran Nazir, Kamran Akmal†, Shoaib Malik, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi*, Naved-ul-Hasan, Mohammad Aamer, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal

No it will be Gul and Aamer opening the bowling.

We should bowl them out under 200 or max 220

You'd hope so, but we don't know how the pitch will play yet. It could ease out very fast and become the batting paradise Centurion normally is.

Shahid looks disgruntled out there. There will be danger at the Wanderers today.

Wonderful vocal, urdu pak anthem being sung by South Africans bit funny

Oh man the commontators are already sending chills down my spine :(

Let the match start, pakistan should win and win comfortably inshallah.

Why do they classify Rana as a bowler and Malik as all rounder, Rana will take offense to that

I f pak lose this match they should go home

If Windies win today, this squad needs to be made permanent, force the actual Windies XI to retire :afridi
