Seems like Usman Qadir isn't playing.

83/2 of 12 overs. Rapid start. We could use one of these in our semi or final match.

wow we have a 14 and 16 year old in the line up

babar azam and faraz ali

Usman Qadir is still in Pakistan and is waiting for his pasport, reports are that he will get his passport in 1 or 2 days

180/6 this U19 probably the weakest considering the teams from 2004 onwards only good batsman is Azeem Ghumman and pace bowling is abysmal considering all of them are one dimensional Left arm medium pacers (and the pick of the pacer Abdul Ameer although having very good pace wasnt anything special couple of years back when I saw him) I think we have to rely on Usman Qadir win us matches in the next worldcup (or may be if we can find good pacers and batsmen in the mean time.

and your expert views are based on a score card on cricinfo which is not even doing ball by ball commentary. :)))

I have only describe my views on players who I have seen in the past and mind you I have hardly gone wrong with my player analysis.

an U-19 guy who yo saw 2 years back :)))

Yea he was 15 (Abdul Ameer I think you mean) although he was looking like 17 or 18 back then ,Afridi selected him in place of Tanvir Ahmed in Sind v other team in pent-angular cup and he got real phanti in that match although he was generating a bit of pace considering his age and also moving the ball (but not effectively) I hope he is a better bowler now.

BTW why I cannt saw a U19 guy 2 years back? He must not have born 2 years back right?

cricketers skill can change rapidly at that age so a player you saw years back at 15 might be a completley different bowler at 17 so thats why I was having a laugh that you were commenting on an u-19 who you saw two years back.

Not everyone matures quickly like :aamir

211 all out.

6 batsmen got all starts, but no1 went on to make a big score. This is so typical Pakistan.
Where does the problem lie? (must be many reasons)

muhammad saad must be the worst judger of scorecards around LOL

No need to make fool of eachother, just stick to the cricket will you.

Good start for Pakistan, taking a wicket first over

3/1 after 1 over

Out of Zims 5 runs, 4 have come from wides.

A few of the batsmen got starts BUT didnt kick on

Still you would expect our lads to defend 200

a number of batsman could really do with playing a season of league cricket in England for Premier or Div 1 teams.

Technique would be tested on some seaming wickets esp early season.

I know Azeem Ghumman is on the books of Steven Hirst (www.cricx.com), but not sure of any other U-19 cricketers.

Too bad I was really looking forward to seeing Usman Quadir in action.

It might be a difficult wicket to bat on. Zimbabwe is certainly struggling on it so don't be too quick to criticize the batsmen

Is Raza Hasan a clone of Hasan Raza.

He is obviously bowling well, in 4.1 overs he has only given away 1 run and taken two wickets.

Yeah seems like a difficult wicket, but when you get a decent start, 30+ runs then it shouldn't be that difficult to make a fifty.

Rawalpindi bowlers are completely dominating cricket at junior level.

First it was Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Rameez opening the attack.
Now it's Nasir Malik and Kaleem Sana opening the bowling attack.

It looks like Pakistan will win this one easily.
I am surprised to see the U19 squad, most players are unknown even at U19 level but selectors have done a good job in recent years so i am sure thy must have picked them on merit.
Good luck to Pak youngsters, i know they should have played against stronger teams but this is a good start as most of them have never played a game outside Pakistan so it will be good exposure.

Kaleem Sana is 15 years old and he's played first class cricket.

Not only a bit ridiculous but also a bit :O

71/7 - Nasir Malik and Kaleem Sana look like very good prospects and are bowling vey good in this match......

Match over.Shahzaib Ahmed picked up 4/15.Wow!..with two maidens. Not bad!

Great to see 2 leggie battling out for the position in the playing XI but I will give Usman an edge over Shahzeb Ahmed.

kalam guy is 15 years old :O helllooooooooow im 15 and he's in the u19 team!

A comprehensive victory in the end for the Under 19s in the opening match of their tour of Zimbabwe.

Once this tour is over I'll catch up with Sabih Azhar who is the coach of this team and provide you with his thoughts on the players who were part of this squad.
