Just over an hour to go now...Will there be rain or will the sun shine? Will the streak be extended or come to a grinding halt? Will I skip my 4 o'clock meeting? Stay tuned to find out...
 
Willow TV is even showing the dry runs of the pitch report from Arun Lal.
I think its a mistake, someone has actually left the cameras on. The good news, no rain currently.
 
Go Pakistan indeed...a lot is at stake for me, I'm sure the boys won't let me down.

It was clear from the comments from Arun, that he doesn't even care about the pitch report. He was like, i will just say what i always say about the pitch.

no specific surprising comments but he was telling someone about what he is going to talk about and pretty much summed up as saying that i will do the regular stuff. Dead pitch, and spinners will be handy.

RAO over Sohail...how much do these nothin bowlers pay to our mgmt
 
Malik expects to restrict IND to 230-240 which will be an excellent effort and much needed with a lesser batsmen with the absence of Fawad.
 
Yar, Rao is not a bad bowler. Let him play few games before he could be thrown out for Sohail Tanvir.

Today if Rao bowls better than any other remaining 3 bowlers (i.e. Gul, Tanvir and Riaz) then I say let him play further.

Well, at least we're going with 5 bowlers. Big test for Rao...
 
Impressed with the team selection for this match. Nice to see Raina in the team. Always a better shout compared to Uthappa.

Also, Yousuf Pathan debuts! Will be interesting to see his approach later in the game. I guess Raina will come 1 down and Yuvi 2 down and Rohith 3 down and Dhoni 4 down. Thats a solid middle order I feel !

With the new ball, Praveen Kumar can be quite a wicket taking bowler. If you havent seen him bowl before, you may be pleasantly surprised!

Rp Singh hasn't been his usual self after returning from the injury. Ofcourse, he has only played in the T20 format which I feel is not a good measure of things.
 
great lineup.
sohail khan is gud, but he's a rookie, and rao is not a half bad batsman either. rao gets wickets aswell, he'll take the pace off if sehwag and gambhir explode.

I've seen Kumar before. I just thought R.P was a first choice pacer for you guys.
 
Very impressed with team selection, nice to see Pak attacking with an extra bowler.
Sohail may be good, but doesn't make sense to have 2 rookie bowlers in the playing XI and Rao is a very good ODI bowler
 
meh. they said its a slow track. did mansoor amjad also go to bangladesh in the squad?
 
To be fair, Akmal was never gonna stop that, he just isn't good enough.
 
Shabaash Akmal. Throw in a dive to make it look like you read the trajectory.

Salman Butt is a pretty good fielder. I think Alam was at point in the last match.

Another misfield from Butt and gives away another run, the slide was mistimed.
