Whether Hasnain merits a place by leaving out Hasan Ali is a good question also.

Appoint someone else, Imad, or Aamir or anyone, re-brand the team, and start a new mini tournament from next week by winning 4 matches straight and then hope 11 points are enough for semi finals.

I think its based on rr and then who has beaten who if the rr are the same.
So NZ will have to lose 4 of their 5 remaining games or have weather affected game, i.e. a washout.
Basically, they shouldn't get more than 10 points. Very unlikely!
Even more unlikely, is pak needs to win its last 4 games!
This is further unlikely, as pak can now not afford any more washouts due to the weather!

Haris Sohail should come in for Malik but Haris has some serious issues with fitness as watched him on the bench and he looks quite over weight and especially with those niggles and dodgy knee issues that have kept him out for a good time too won't do any good with all that extra weight he carries on him.

He does not look fit at all. Not sure what types of fitness tests these players are passing and what the coaching staff sitting around are doing with them.

I dont think it means anything. They don't necessarily need to enjoy each other's company off the field. They just need to respect each other on the field. It's like having coworkers. You work with them and respect their work but some you rather not hangout with as a personal preference.

Don’t be fooled by Wahab so called good form in 3/4 games he has gone 7+ rpo each time his batting is also not that needed if top7 are not doing it then no need to get runs from #9. The tourney is finished just give exposure to young blokes at the world stage

No. I never had any hopes of us making it to semis but strangely, today I have a feeling that EngvsNZ match will decide our fate. The probability of NZ having lost 3 (sa,aus,pak) OR Eng having lost 2 (aus, ind) matches before this fixture is extremely high. Don't assume England are through, they are highly vulnerable. Aus & Ind will come hard at them, considering eng bowling, they may end up losing both, & then match against NZ will be quarter final for them too.
On the other hand, our chances of winning next three matches (sa, nz, afg) will be high if we can only sort out captaincy & team combination. Will be a nail biting end to the group stage i guess.
