Sri Lanka need 327 to win.

How well will Pakistan bowl today with the inclusion of Umar Gul - we'll find out shortly.
 
Yessss just what we needed and we got 16 runs... as Pakistan finish their innings on 326/5. Will bw challenging for lankans but they bat deep, scaring fact is all their tail enders bat very well be it kulesekhara, prasanna, senanayake an even malinga. If we manage to take wickets regularly then we will win.

I have a feeling sri lanka will lose 4 wickets before 100.

i would say 50-50 to that but i agree we should have finished on 350 plus. This score could'nt be achieved cause shezhad and hafeez playing too negatively in first 20 overs. Missed too many balls, hafeez particularly played a dogged century. He di play well after he got to 100 but he did waste too many balls earlier and that is why we did'nt finish on 350 plus.

He played good after making century.

But this pitch demanded more from him in the first half of the inning.

Century or no century, but he played awful during the first 20 overs.

No he didnt, he played an anchor role which is what he was supposed to do when his partner is striking at 90. You talk about a 350 run pitch, remember that we have gotten to 300 last three times Hafeez has scored a century. We were looking at 270-280 had Hafeez given away his wicket early. Admit that he played a perfectly paced innings and stuck to the plan. You cant expect a anchor player like Hafeez to strike at 90-100 throughout his whole innings. Its a big deal that he managed to get his SR over 100 even after his slow start.
 
Junaid gets swing early on. This is why you need Gul in the team. You don't ever make one of the best pace bowlers in the world, in Junaid Khan, bowl first change and try to contain. Kudos to him for still ending up averaging 22.
 
Such a sight for sore eyes, seeing Gul bowling again after almost a year.
 
Who's bright idea was it to send that pinch hitter before Sanga?
 
As soon as i said second wicket is coming the very next ball gul striked !!!! spiritual insight indeed !

Third wicket will come shortly ..
