Furthermore, no disrespect to Misbah, but I can clearly see a different Haris when playing with Malik here, simply because both can rotate strike. This is was massive issue if you play with Misbah (strike rotation).

I totally Agree , misbah wasn't a very good mentor. Its hard to build a partnership with abatsman like misbah, same goes with hafeez and shehzad.

Good point - I recall Malik putting on a masterclass with Yousuf in the 2009 CT in how to rotate strike in middle overs. When he's in form, he's very good at it.

Brilliant Batting by Malik; maybe there is light at the tunnel after all ai the good thing about this knock will be that he won't be under so much pressure the next time he goes out to bat knowing that his place in the squad is secure. When you play without the fear of being dropped you tend to bat better....let's see whether this is a false dawn or not but I'd like to think this time round Malik will do his talent justice hopefully.
