Australian bowlers who were expected to struggle in Pakistani conditions have bowled better than the Pakistani bowlers in our home conditions.

A lesson to the PCB is that against good high quality teams, you can't just pick a spinner for the sake of it, they have to be high quality spinners with some x factor otherwise its pointless to pick them.

Shaheen has blown hot and cold in patches and he deteriorated as the overs piled up. Naseem Shah made a big difference with his pace in the third test when conditions assisted reverse swing.

Hassan Ali was badly innocuous with his medium pace stuff. To operate on Pakistani dust bowls the bowlers need to have an avg speed of 140 km/hr plus and with the ability to exploit reverse swing later.

Overall, this series exposed us after we had been cashing in on weak opponents for a while.

A massive gap in skill level between what the Australians have and what Pakistan have. It seems like the well for batting and bowling talent has either dried up.

Australian pacers have 140+ tests between them.
Our pacers have barely 70 or less.

There is a big gap in skill levels and experience. Australian pacers have been developed properly while ours are still running on hit and trial.

Our spin attack is possibly the worst spin twin spin attack we have ever fielded.

Shaheen underperformed, should have done better. Naseem is rubbish and Hasan is finished.

The spin duo is a joke. They won’t get into a state team in India.

Pakistani spin attack was quite below-par. Aussie spinners outperformed them definitely.

Aussies have been very poor in Asian conditions recently shows how useless our bowling was
Babar the batsman is a gem ; but poor captain
Rizwan is only good for soft oppositions and flat tracks

I'd mostly agree. Shaheen has been bowled into the ground by the Pakistan management, they need to seriously cut back the amount of cricket he plays if they want him to be a sucesss in all formats. No need for him to play the upcoming T20 or ODI series, let him rest and recharge.

Naseem bowled well - for the first time, so not quite ready to rule him out at the very least he has earned a place for the next series.

The spinners are a joke.

Our bowling attack was very poor The spinners and Hassan Ali should get a 3/10

No Pakistani batsmen are to be blamed because Pakistani batsmen were playing at home and never pressured the Australian bowlers and were given roads . Australia being more experienced bowled well but despite bad spinners and 2 inexperienced test fast bowlers Pakistani bowlers often got Australians all out . We never let them have an innings win only due to bowlers . If only the pitches were good our spinners or fast bowlers would have given us a chance

What kind of pitches Pakistan gave? They were not turners like in India.

The issue with Pakistan is that they made dull wickets because they afraid of losing , unless you are positive, you will lose . You need to prepare result-oriented pitches according to your strengths, and if opposition out plays you that is fine , but to prepare dull pitches hoping to get draw is Not acceptable.

So it's fine getting them out aslong as they conceded 350+

Australians utilized reverse swing much better than the Pakistani bowlers. That was really telling for me.

It is a young pace attack. They need to bowl more together and find out what works for them.
They have no senior to teach them on the field. Need to be patient with them. There is some quality and potential which can be improved.
Spinners are useless. Pick 2-3 U-25 from Domestic with potential and give them a really long rope.

Aus pace duo was more experienced more express and add to it Pakistani batsmen were vulnerable against pace hence even on low slow wickets they collapsed like 7/20

Naseem bowled reverse very well as good as aussies shaheen is not a reverse swing bowler his strengths are pace and bounce from the pitch we cut his legs with the pitches that were offered in this series while hasan was useless.

Shaheen was average, Naseem bowled good as per his skill set, Nouman and Sajid used as weapon improve over rate rather than taking wickets, Hasan is useless irrespective of the format.

What was the average speeds in the series ?

Shaheen as the series went on tired. He should be rested from the ODI's and T-20s. Hopefully the PCB realizes after this series about the need to manage fast bowler's workloads.

I agree with lack of skill and experience compared to the Australians, however let's not ignore the elephant in the room.

The pacers bowled themselves into the ground in the Pakistan Super League.

They had a 4-day break before the First Test. I understand the scheduling was unavoidable but PCB should've managed their workloads before a major Test series, especially Shaheen.

Pakistan takes priority over LQ and all these franchises.

Indeed , but people want Rizwan as captain...

they have never done that in the past and never will do so.. Shaheen will soon break his back and might become toothless...

Also the reason quoted by Amir for his retirement..

To me the batters are to blame more so than bowlers. Even though we didn't take 20 wickets, we still had a chance in the last test due to Cummins declaration. We had 2 collapses on flat tracks.

As for the spin duo - they're our domestic giants who've taken heaps of wickets on these grounds. PCB should've made pitches to tailor to their strengths rather then negate their effect. If the spinners had supporting pitches, we would've won.
