The shots that Agha, Babar played were sackable. It's embarrassing to keep throwing away your wicket like this when you don't have the quality or talent to play aggressively against your game.

Our players simply forget to play regular orthodox cricket under pressure

I'll be blunt here, those reputations were made against minnows and C sides. The fact that Farhan had a Bumrah-slayer reputation after that atrocious Asia Cup tells you how seriously those reputations need to be taken. Fans are so eager to find a superstar that they buy all kind of frauds these days, eyes closed.

Zabardasti ka reputation

What I meant is that someone like Babar is known to be a orthodox batter and his role in the side was to anchor but he decides to slog against the line when the situation demanded he play his regular orthodox cricket?

Why? Is it because India have now figured out how to set fields and bowl tightly to neutralize his orthodox shots? Is it because of pressure where someone like Babar plays against his natural instincts

They wanted to to diffuse some pressure by playing big hits.

Farhan had an attrocious BPL. He has done nothing since the Asia T20 Cup. Indian selectors are so ruthless, they do not persist with an out of form, non performing player beyond a series

That's true. The mental IQ of quom is low but the talk shows & media also fuels that for cheap ratings and theatrics. Lobbies start to get formed around mediocrity and frauds rise to power.

Anchor? RRR is not 4.

1. Fault of Shaheen , captaincy and bowlers. This was 150 to 160 target pitch, they made it 180 target. Due to this had to take advantage in power play before ball got soft and spinners come on
2. Getting some boundaries puts pressure back on bowling side its not always a bad tactic. It didnt work out but I honestly liked that more than just doing tuk tuk. Babar didnt get out to hitting out he got out to usual failure to read arm ball from left armor that has been his issue for many many years.
3. Salman ideally could have played last ball of that over on merit but on another day ball would have come on to bat and gone for four its fine margins.

The team is like a headless chicken 🐔, too many garbage allrounders stacked in , pace battery completely dead and hacks in the mould of batsman. Bar minnows this team is bound to fail
