Pakistani student bags world’s highest marks in Cambridge Mathematics exams

A Pakistani student bagged the highest marks in Syllabus D Mathematics in the Cambridge Examinations 2017, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Muhammad Haider Khan, a student of Karachi’s Bahria College Karsaz, thanked the institution for helping him achieve the accolade, according to an official statement.

Does India have O/A Levels? Every year since I've been keeping up, a bunch of Pakistani students end up with world distinctions for major subjects. My sister had two, math and chemistry, but from Edexcel instead of CIE. My school would put out a full page ad every year in major newspapers listing everyone who had gotten some kind of distinction (there were many, both at Pakistan and world level) and there were always like 20-30 people on it.
