PCB writes letter to ICC for action against India for allowing players to wear Army caps

PCB well within their rights. Moeen Ali was reprimanded by the ICC for supporting Palestinians by wearing a wrist band. The point is simple, do not politicize sport.

Saying this, before the Army caps, India were leading 2-0 in the series vs Australia, but after the Army caps, India lost the series 3-2. Oh well.

Plz let them carry on with the army cap

Has proved very unlucky anyways.,

1. First let ICC give permission to pcb to bring a political agenda to the cricket field and support a secessionist movement via ICC.

2.BCCI will donate the entire budget of ipl opening ceremony to the arrmed forces. Players will donate their entire match fees of that day to the armed forces. Thats a very substantial amount.

That amount from players and BCCI will amount to 4 million dollars probably is my guess. Divide that between 40 soilders killed in Pulwama. thats about 100k each family roughly 60 lacs per family. Thats good gesture. Besides Sehwag has said his school will teach children of those killed for free. Good gesture

I salute you sir! Wish our neighbor's army general had such grace and maturity.

You mean like India won after wearing the caps?
Those who are equating this to push ups by Pak players that was to show appreciation for players training provided to cricket players and not to politicise Pak Army.

You didn't get my point. India did not wear the army caps against Pakistan. Had they done so and lost, it would have been 10x more embarrassing. Our fans have trolled them hard for wearing the caps against Australia and losing the game - imagine how hard they would troll India, if they were to wear them against Pakistan and still end up losing the game.

Should we decide to pull off the stunts suggested by our friend KKWC, we would have to ensure that we win the game at all costs. If we don't, it would be emphatically embarrassing and we will deserve to get trolled hard for it. Therefore, if we decide to pay a little tribute of our own, we should do it against any team other than India.

So now PCB has become the self appointed representative of all Muslim cricketers. PCB just cannot stop embarrassing itself.

The Pakistan Cricket Board paid the BCCI approximately $1.6 million as compensation after losing the case it filed against the Indian Cricket Board for allegedly not honouring a bilateral agreement, PCB chairman Ehsan Mani claimed on Monday.

The PCB had filed a compensation case against the BCCI last year before the ICC's Dispute Resolution Committee, demanding around $70 million. The ICC dismissed it and asked the PCB to compensate the legal cost to the BCCI.

"We incurred cost of around $2.2 million on the compensation case which we lost," Mani said.

"The ICC committee did accept that Pakistan had a case and that is why the damages/cost we had to pay to the Indian board was around $1.6 million," Mani said.

Mani insisted that besides the amount paid to India to cover the legal cost, the other expenses were related to legal fees and travelling.

According to the PCB, the agreement with India, which it claimed was a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), ensured Pakistan six bilateral series between 2015 and 2023. Pakistan said the BCCI reneged on the commitment, causing it losses running into millions of dollars

So India were allowed to wear this during a period of military tension with Pakistan

But there seems to be an issue with this?
