Great news if true. That said, the Australia tour of SA begins with a tour match in late February, with the tests starting at the beginning of March so it unlikely he will be available for the whole tournament.

Yes, but it turns out the Indian tour of SA is now likely to take place during 2017/2018. The reason for this is SA are likely to cancel the Sri Lanka series, as per http://www.espncricinfo.com/southafr...y/1075754.html

The schedule for the Australia tour of SA begins in late February, as per http://www.cricket.com.au/news/featu...ers/2017-01-04.

This means the South Africans in theory should available for February, which will be most of the tournament.

How is possible he signed a player when draftting needs to be done.

Zalmi must have the first pick of either Platinum or Diamond category so they must have assured Decok that they will pick him in the draft as they have the first pick. This was the exactly same way Qalandars made Mccallum the captain before the draft.

Draft in quinton de kock and other good players. Then set them up for trades and the teams willing to get them would need to give up 1 of their good players.

But the problem is, our league managment is too young and dont understand these tactics.

This is good news. Hope this opens the door to more South African participation in the PSL. Hopefully the Lahore Qalandars owner can lure Hashim Amla into the league too seeing how he owns the Durban franchise.

Aus v SA 1st Test is 1st March with tour match a week early, so he might be in Australia by 18th February.

Might play two to three matches then.
