All good and fun and not a problem, especially odd when gun crime etc are frowned upon

But Pictures of the Raheem Sterling's gun tattoo led to calls for him to be dropped from the 2018 World Cup squad

Do you find that ... odd?

It may be odd to those who don't know how the British media operates.

I think it's just a difference of opinion. Everything is okay until it is not harming anyone.

I recall no one saying a word when MS Dhoni celebrated a milestone using his gun as a rifle. Jadeja also flashes his sword as a bat upon reaching a milestone. Even the ICC was silent when the entire Indian team wore military hats versus Pak, why not any other team?. When Asif Ali used his bat as a rifle to celebrate the Indian media was up in arms calling him a war monger and all. The hypocrisy in sport is obvious.

Celebrations come and go, not everyone will notice Foden’s celebration and he can easily change his celebration but a tattoo is going to be there forever unless Sterling decides to get it removed.

I don’t have any issue with either and it is quite ridiculous that it has become a talking point, but IMO, both situations are not the same.

Even Simeone's provocative gestures were not criticized well.

Please remove post 5 due to spelling errors, thanks.

But the ICC told India to shut up when they complained abut Asif's celebration. As for the Footballing incident it is much better to wear a tattoo then a false exercise on the field of play. Either both are wrong or both are right.

Raheem Sterling has held his hands up and apologised to Chelsea fans following his side's victory over Leicester

The Blues secured a 4-2 victory against the Foxes in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday - but it wasn't all as rosy for the home side as the scoreline suggests.

Sterling in particular had a tough time, missing a penalty and also firing a free-kick well over the goal and into the stand, with the latter move leading to boos from a section of the home fans.

Leicester lost defender Callum Doyle after he was sent off in the 73rd minute for clipping Nicolas Jackson in the box with him clean through on goal.

The Blues managed to advantage of the depleted Foxes and scored two late goals in added time through Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke - who had just come on for Sterling - to seal the Blues' spot in the semi-final.

Sterling didn't shy away from his errors as he celebrated his side getting into the next round on his Instagram after the game.

"Wembley Bound," he wrote under the snaps of him during the match. "To all the Chelsea fans, apologies for the penalty miss.

"I'll be back 10x stronger to help the team win and continue to keep fighting or the badge every single day.

"Let's Go Blues at chelseafc."

Following the game, Pochettino defended his forward and called for his club's fans to support him.

Now, Sterling's teammates have been rallying around him on social media too.

Chelsea star Cole Palmer wrote under Sterling's post: "My brother. S*** happens no need to apologise gg."

Ben Chilwell also sent his support, writing: "It's football, it happens. We all appreciate you brother."

Chukwuemeka, Jackson, Enzo Fernandez, Thiago Silva, Reece James, Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah were among the other Chelsea players in the comments sending him love.

The Blues will now face Manchester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on April 20.

Meanwhile, other semi-finalists Coventry City took down Wolves with a dramatic last minute winner to seal a historic tie against Manchester United.
