Sarfaraz Ahmed has said that this wrist band was given to all players in the Kakul camp and until the 2019 World Cup whenever they have any negative thoughts, they will look to it for positive vibes!

This is cool, but I am not happy that our cricket team has a relationship with the military. We shouldn't have a camp in Kakul. Thankfully the salute and pushups celebration has ran its course, although Azhar is yet to get the memo.

Happy that they're trying everything they can.

This is what you need from your countrymen. You can't be a winner evrytime but, what matters is your attitude.

I think its pretty cool, i like how our team is getting super professional and super focused towards achieving success.

We are no more settling for mediocrity that was the signature of the Misbah/Azhar/Waqar era unfortunately.

We are definitely not a complete team especially in the batting department but the right mentality can take a team a very long way. Jose's Inter Milan, Sir Fergie's Manchester, Di Matteo's Champions league winning Chelsea; we have so many examples.

Like the poster said above, you cannot win everytime but having the right mindset is what matters.

After cornered tiger this is something new.. I like the Idea and so refreshing to see the mindset of the team changing after the horrible ODIs days from the past :azhar2:misbah4

During that time we stepped onto the field to somehow get respectable defeat.

What a marked difference from dark days of Misbah era!

Good to see that team is very motivated. Haven’t seen a Pakistani team with this much energy in a long time.

Can we just take a moment and just truly appreciate what Mickey has done for our cricket. Its a transformation I thought I would never witness.

A young team with a ICC trophy win. We are in a good place. Need to kick on and win more.

Well said ! Mickey reminds me of what Alex Ferguson and Bill Shankly did when they arrived at Manchester Utd and Liverpool.

The two clubs were underachieving given their status with ageing players, primitive training methods and poor attitudes amongst players towards fitness. However these two men with their iron will and long-term vision took complete control of the clubs, cleared out the old guard and introduced young blood, reformed the training methods and never compromised on fitness.

Previous Pakistan coaches on the other hand just looked to get through the next series, gave lip service to improve fitness/fielding but never had guts to drop unfit players like Mickey has done, and picked up their paycheck while we were left behind by the top sides.

I think Pakistan cricket team ought to stay away from ppl like you if they want positive vibes!

After the huff and puff win against Afg , expected loss to BD and managing just 3 Indian wickets (one of them run out) in 2 game losses against arch rival, the management

checked behind the wristbands The Championship Mindset wrist-bands were "Made in China" :)).

Before the 2012 Olympics Michael Phelps used to wear a swimming cap in bed with "2012" written on it. Rest is the history.
Can Pakistan do it?
