In a year where Pakistan’s bowling depth was tested across formats and conditions, Mohammad Nawaz quietly but emphatically claimed the spotlight in T20Is. With 36 wickets in 24 innings at a jaw-dropping average of 13.61 and economy of 6.56, Nawaz wasn’t just consistent — he was clutch. His best of 5/19 and a strike rate of 12.4 underline his ability to break partnerships and control tempo, especially in pressure overs. While others rotated in and out, Nawaz anchored the attack with discipline and bite, proving why he's still Pakistan’s most tactically valuable spinner in white-ball cricket.

But the supporting cast deserves its own applause. Abrar Ahmed (28 wickets, 6.58 econ) and Shaheen Afridi (26 wickets, 7.42 econ) offered variety and venom, while Faheem Ashraf and Haris Rauf chipped in with 20+ wickets each despite higher economy rates. Usman Tariq’s 4/18 in just two outings and Abbas Afridi’s 8 wickets at a strike rate of 11
.8 hint at future firepower. Even Saim Ayub and Salman Mirza showed promise with tidy spells. Pakistan’s bowling wasn’t just about one star — it was a layered ensemble, but Nawaz’s numbers and impact make him the clear standout.
