Some nice suits there. A man looks best in a suit or sherwani.

Shoaib Malik dressed extremely well again.

Best fitting suit, top button out of two done on the jacket, perfect jacket length, cuffs slightly longer than jacket sleeves etc. All the gentleman style rules to a tee.

Khan was awarded the prestigious Wisden cricketer of the year  Misbah will be followed next month

Now adays people dont know how to wear a suit.

There is a protocol that when you wear a suit you should be clean shaved and where a proper full tie, not those tails, very informal

Only azhar mehmood and younis look well dressed and look good in the suit, rest are informal

You don't have to be clean shaven. That's a load of rubbish.

You're right that people don't know how to wear suits. Disappointing really. These men are professionals.

Rashid Bhai got some snazzy colored suits

I don't think being clean shaven falls under the ambit of a sharply dressed man in a well tailored suit. I've seen folks rocking a short beard and looking hella classy. Obviously the beard can't be unruly, it has to be nicely trimmed and shaped to perfection.

Can you please list what other protocols are there of wearing a suit?

An event was organized at the Home of Cricket, Lord’s, to honour Pakistan’s retiring legend Younis Khan. All the Pakistani cricketers were present there.

Current and former Pakistani cricketers shared their fond memories of the legend. Former Pakistan’s captain Shoaib Malik also took the microphone to say something about Younis Khan.

Shoaib Malik recalled some funny moments that he enjoyed with the veteran batsman.

Malik praised Younis Khan that he has always played his heart out for the team and he will surely miss his refreshing smile.

“(He) always gives 100% and not a pounce less ever. I will miss that larger than life smile along with that laid back posture while chewing gum and throwing stones at me from second slip” he said with a laughter.

Younis Khan is the first Pakistani batsman to score 10,000 runs, he is not only good at batting, but he can also fix batting tools.

“He is a cricketer who can fix bats, pads or gloves,” told Shoaib Malik. “I have seen all the stuff in his bag, if I needed anything he is the only person to whom I can go up to,” he added.

Younis Khan retired after a magnificent career as Pakistan’s most successful Test batsman.

Yeah, he absolutely knows how to dress. You know, a lot of people don't know this but the sleeves of your shirt are supposed to be coming out of the sleeves of the coat (just like Maliks) and I'm surprised he knew.

Yasir Arafat and Azhar Mahmood look really good. Yasir would make a really good model back home.

That's fairly common knowledge to be fair

And even if you don't know it the tailor should tell you that

Shoaib Malik is such a playa™. That Indian tennis player is lucky ;)

I think while certain rules such as Black Oxfords, no belt with braces etc have stood the test of time, a lot has changed.

In regards to two you mentioned, it has absolutely become acceptable to have a beard / facial hair in the Corporate and fashion world. Provided it is not simply stubble or unkempt. Even the older generation has come to accept this.

Another is regarding the thickness and length of ties. Far more common and actualy neat for a slimmer person to wear a narrower lapel jacket and pair with a narrower tie. Plus I have seem made older people start to rock the knitted ties which are inevitably shorter than a conventional tie.

In regards to our cricketers, I don't think its necessary to berate or make fun of our player for their fashion sense. Just because theyre famous does not mean they should not wear what is comfortable for them, ie a looser fitting suit etc. However if someone like Malik is making an effort, it is nice to see as a fan.

Azhar's tie :)) :)) cummon you can't be this ignorant!!! Your tie should be somewhere in between your buckle Azhar Bhai...

For the record, even Afridi dresses well for the occasion.
