At one point when a journo gave him a lecture on Salman Butt's eligibility for selection, disguised as a question, he started off by saying in a low volume "Saree baat to apka pata hai" [if you know the whole story then why are you asking a question?]

My point is, Is the non-selection of a player who averages around 30 more questionable than the non-selection of a player who averages around 55?

Fawad isn't good enough, but he averages more then Butt in domestics and internationals. That means he is doing something right. And he deserved the answer for his non-selection more than Butt.
