Many a time in cricket, we witness players with bossy attitude. Some are able to justify it with their exemplary performance while all others are like all talk and no business. These players who can't walk the talk are not a laughing stock themselves but a big liability on their team too as they poke nose themselves but in return their team mates had to suffer.

So in modern day cricket, name such characters who justify these depictions.

For me it's Virat Kohli, who picked fights with Aussie media, crowd and Konstas and in return riled up Sam Konstas, cost Jaiswal his century, turned the whole crowd against the Indian team and got bowled out cheaply as usual on 6th Stump

Kohli.
Siraj.
Rubel Hossain.
Simon Katich.
Umar Akmal.
Dickwella.
Jade Dernbach.
Andre Nel.
Lahiru Kumara.
Ray Price.
Dinesh Ramdin.

Virat performence in australia against any team is one of the Best, not sure what are you talking about? :kp

Imam-ul-Haq, who once referred to himself as an "automatic selection".
naa he wasnt that bad. The way he got into the team was controversial but you need to remember Pakistan went through a row of bad openers before we went with Imam. He may not be the best of the lot, but when you compare him to the likes of Imran Farhat, Imran Nazir, Shazaib hassan, Ahmed Shezad, Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali, guy did well.

He was not our tier 1 opener, but he was a Tier 2 opener putting him at the same level as Hafeez.

Siraj. Atleast Kohli has achieved something in cricket. Siraj is a 130 kph trundler with the attitude of a 150 kph spearhead.

It doesn’t matter how good you are, no one and I repeat no one should ever claim to be an “automatic selection”.

Even the greats of the game are more humble than him.

I know Misbah has a thing for him but that doesn’t excuse him for his zero performance and automatic selection claims.

As a coach, Misbah. The guy thought he could coach at international level without any coaching experience and qualifications.

Ahmed Shahzad is the best example of this.

lol at opening this thread with Kohli the King. His performances might be crap now, but his attitude has walked worthily side by side with his performances over the years. In 2014 when he had a dream tour of Australia, he'd mentioned that he doesn't believe that sledging or annoying people should be proportional to how you're performing. His logic was - if I start thinking like that, I will be worrying every other ball that I must not get out whereas I want to be thinking of how I can score irrespective of how I behaved the ball before. So clearly for him, attitude and performance have been two distinct attributes. If you loved him when he was doing both well, you can't hate him when he's only doing one well.

Matt Renshaw for me.he used to laugh at bowlers at every delivery while taking the stride just to agitate them.guy went in to hiding now a days .

He is so much worse than people realize which is scary because people already think of him as a pretty poor player.
I still feel he deserves to play test cricket for Pakistan. He has a compact technique and can replace Shan Masood once he retires.

The Entire Bangladesh team, esp after losing Nidhas trophy, getting knocked out by Binny and then celebrating early and then giving the worst performance by any Test team in India.

Yes he's a very good batsman.

His only problem is he can't play seam, swing, pace, bounce, any kind of movement from any kind of bowler and any kind of turn from any kind of spinner. Apart from this he is world class :imam

Come on buddy, he is not that bad. He can feast on dead wickets in Pakistan like earlier. Atleast, you will have an opener who will always survive 50 balls.

Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh averages 20 with the bat and over 40 with the ball in Tests this year.

Is it time for Australia to find someone else for No.6?

Nailed it lol

Another one that comes to mind is the Misbah clone, Ifti aka chacha.

Who remembers “In Pakistan I’m known as a famous finisher”?

But the truth is in Pakistan you’re known as a famous age fudger.

Attitude wise

India

Siraj and Kohli, however tbf to Kohli he was a top player in his prime while siraj was always rubbish minus one purple patch phase.

Australia

No one, they either all perform or the ones who don't, don't have an attitude.

Pakistan

Currently it has to be Rizwan, Abdullah and Shan since both shaheen and babar calmed down atleast.

Rizwan is extremely arrogant and his fake nice personality is extremely obvious. He puts himself before his country followed by the fact that he's the single cause of our t20 problems atm as an opener.

Abdullah is arrogant as well and so is shan, Both whine and complain non stop. I still remember shan complaining about the drs decison. Like bro, you weren't gonna score anyway, even if drs wasn't out 🤣🤣.

Afghanistan

Sometimes its the entire team 🤣🤣. Sometimes not. Honestly it depends as to which Afghanistan shows up on that particular day.

Imad Wasim... LOL
Naw imad isn't arrogant. Amir is 100%, but imad isn't.

People blame him for hating babar and rizwan but the truth is those hooligans started it.

Imad kicked rizwan out of his psl team, which is his right. He's the captain and has every right to choose his playing 11.

Afterwards he was clearly dropped from the team due to this tactic, not due to his performance where nawaz replaced him and before you claim it's a conspiracy theory, Hafeez outright admitted it.

Hafeez during wc 2023 verbatim said that not only was inad treated unfairly but he was indeed kicked out after 2021 due to what imad did in psl, however hafeez claimed that imad should play wc 2023 and that the team would now take care of him and imad refused calling it total nonsense.

Afterwards imad went on tv and mocked babar for his performance which again he has a right to. It wasn't an insult, infact Ahmed shehzad was 100x more insulting on tv. Furthermore imad's comments were stemmed for his unjust removal in 2021.

Imad being arrogant =/= imad hating babar and rizwan. Pcb even backstabbed him again cause imad had no idea babar would be reappointed as captain and shaheen would get stabbed in the back as well.

This is the same nonsense pcb is pulling with fakhar atm, Claiming non performance, Fitness or other crap when he's still playing domestic followed by the fact that non performance isn't an issue when Abdullah sahib is hell bent on breaking the world record of ducks per game.
