Nice of umps to resolve this.

But that does beg the question - bowlers been practicing for a few weeks now - is it that difficult to give up this habit?

Difficult law to apply as it becomes a habit. If we had danish kaneria playing today, the whole team might have been facing charges as he had a habit of licking his fingers before bowling.

It will be a diificult rule to implement on bowlers.

Yes. I think a lot of players may not follow the protocols due to old habits.
