SYDNEY: During their Australia tour, Pakistani cricketers attended annual ‘Emergency Services Mega Bash’ charity event in south Sydney.

Rahat Ali and Wahab Riaz attended the 6th annual Emergency Services Mega Bash at Gannon’s Park, Isaak St, Peakhurst to raise funds for Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The aim of the Emergency Services Mega Bash is a community engagement event for the agencies to visualise static displays and demonstrations using various equipment and vehicles, incorporating a festival style atmosphere for attending patrons, whilst building comradery between the personnel of the emergency services.

Australian authorities are attempting to continue raise awareness and further development with research into child related health issues and further assist families during such crisis. The aim of this assistance is to ultimately save lives.

The event itself is a round robin cricket tournament with modified rules played amongst teams made up from the NSW emergency services being Police, Ambulance, Fire & Rescue, State Emergency Service, Rural Fire Service and Health.
