[PICTURES] Pakistan v Bangladesh (2020) : Crowd Watch

Maybe Juma timing the issue - lets see how this builds.

Nice and loud as you like it! Good work Lahoris

Much better crowd as compare too what we see in Karachi normally.

Crowd needs to be paid and given complementary eyedrops for watching Pakistan's batting. I have'nt watched a live match since Misbah became coach/chief selector but it was a pain to watch even in highlights. No power hitter, no dynamic cricketer to watch out for. If someone pays me 10000 per minute to watch Misbah's XI, Shoaib Malik and Hafeez I would still refuse so applause as well as pity for the spectators .

Yea karachi only sold 8 back to back psl games, not good enough.

Yeah & during Pak vs SL ODI series the crowd was great as well. Karachi was hosting ODI after 10 years & a city of almost 15 million population wasn't able to fill up half the stadium with capacity of just 35000.

Good noise. Hopefully the empty seats will be filled soon.

Stupid decision to not host any match on Sunday. Should've played 1st on Saturday 2nd on Sunday & 3rd maybe on Tuesday.

Lot of noise but not sure how many people there

To be fair - who in their right minds would like to sit on cement blocks in such cold weather? There should be seats for all people in the stadium.

All you need to ask yourself is, where will PCB get the money from? You know how much effort it took for PCB to bring back international cricket in Pakistan? Stadium renovations is probably like the 5 step in long term planning by PCB.
First is bring back International cricket in Pakistan and win foreign countries confidence.
Once foreigners become more and more confident in touring Pakistan, it will automatically reduce security measures from president level to more normal level by international standards. This will increase profitability in PCBs financial system.
Once PCB begins to make sustainable revenue generation, it will need to spend more money on cricketing grassroot infrastructure. This will increase quality of Pakistani cricket team and increase brand value of Pakistani team- again increase in revenue.
Once all this is done and sustainable revenue generation system is in place, then PCB can focus on stadium renovations and new world class stadium constructions

People borrow money, if they are sure of their business and do these refurbishments.

This is a necessary investment which needs to be done.

Seats will be installed soon, I believe this is the next phase of renovations for pindi stadium

Again, there is limited money PCB has and therefore, limited investments they can make. What would you first invest in: bringing international cricket back to country, cricket grassroots (facilities and infrastructure) or stadiums? Important thing to note is, it costs a LOT of money to bring international cricket back due to excessive security, however, the more international teams travel to Pakistan, the less the security will cost. The reason why I am saying all this is because I think people are too harsh on PCB not knowing their financial constraints.
