We see league cricket being played in most of the cricket playing nations nowadays. They do have their own domestic cricket. But should league cricket also be part of their domestic programs? Football has succeeded in this successfully. In fact International football is of less recognized as compared to league football.
Should we have players from other countries get developed in their respective clubs. Like a young Aussie player in Psl or ipl league getting developed and gaining entry in first team once capable enough.
Should we have a ICC champions league between teams ranked 1-6? And a second club competition between countries ranked 6 and below?
Fans will play a vital role too. Players will have contracts for years with same club etc etc.. what do you think? Will it be good? I think it will globalize cricket more. Some good player from lower ranked Europe countries might play in ipl... this might increase their interest in cricket.
