Nothing wrong with celebrating that your team managed to play a draw in Aus, there are some teams and some legends that have never managed to draw one match in Aus in their whole lifetime. :yk

On another topic, Rohit should be dropped.
 
Also if we draw this match, it will be 1-1 when we arrive at MCG.

This is definitely something which Aus never thought of, they put the 3 most difficult venues upfront hoping that it will be 3-0 or atleast 2-0 when they enter MCG. Bumrah, Jadeja and Jaiswal spoiled their party.

No one compete with India when it comes to embarrassing OTT celebrations. Who can forget their victory lap around the stadium after winning a dead rubber ODI vs Pakistan in 2013 to prevent a humiliating whitewash.

We would have seen similar embarrassing celebrations had they won the third Test vs New Zealand. Indian players have no shame.

I think you guys overanalyse the Aussies a bit.

Every random thing seems to be a conspiracy or labelled as Aussie mind games.
 
Drawn is gold for india here .

1-1 scoreline is win for india after first three hardest test which australia intentionally scheduled these fixtures in perticular order as they desperately needed to win this series .

This series will either end 4-1 or 3-1 depending on the weather. However, flexing a drawn Test because of rain would be typical of Indian fans.

It reminds me of you gloating over Kohli winning two Test series in Australia when he ran away like a chicken in 2020-21 series after the first Test where India got hammered.

The Indian delusion needs to be studied. I think Harvard should offer a degree.

Whole world is know apart from few Pakistani that australia was deliberately scheduled three most difficult venues upfront to win the BGT as they haven't won it from a decade.

Pakistan fans aren't the ones talking about their team like the best in the world.

This is why Indians celebrating a follow on avoidance like winning the series is cringeworthy.

I can understand fans doing this but a dressing room doing this?

We are already won back to back test series ik australian and yet to losethe biggest test series of test cricket (BGT )since 2014-15.

Just for the information what is the pakistan test record in australia since 1995?

Hint - pakistan yet to draw a test match in australia during that period.

So obviously draw test is gold for india.

India is going to win this series 2-1 or 2-2 draw which is great results for us knowing our expired date player's are still playing.

The dressing room is pumped up and knows that they are still 1-1 in the series and can stage a comeback anytime.

Indian team without 7-8 main names defeated Australia 2-1 in 2021, there is absolutely no reason for this Indian team to be on the backfoot, they know they can still retain the BGT.

I have no problem with India celebrating it even today.

It is hugely importantand keeps them in the match and the series.

You do not win 2 back to back test series in Australia after going through a 36 AO, losing half of your team to injuries and all.

uh what? That is not a random thing. 1st venue Optus where they never lost a test to any team 2nd venue Adelaide pink test which they never lost to any team 3rd venue Fortress until they lost to India. MCG is where INdia won back to back Tests. SCG both tests were draw as it will favor India.
 
Some fans are living in parallel word. Series is not over yet. Didn't you guys hear from AUstralian commentators how important draw result is for India? Kerry o keefe even said that is the most important shot of the series before he hit the shot that helped India avoid follow on. In a 5 test series where first 3 venues are heavily home team friendly you would expect home team to b e up by 3-0 or 2-0 worst case 2-1 not 1-1. Australia has lost back to back boxing day test to India and drew back to back sCG test.
 
It's true if India had lost this Test match then the next 2 Tests would just have been cremation for them but now they have a new life and vigor

The feeling of going to a 4th test match in Australia with the series tied 1-1 is something most visiting nations are not aware of.

Pakistanis were raised seeing 0-2, 0-3 whoopings repeatedly since time immemorial. It’s obvious that they cannot even imagine what is is like and hence they would not understand these emotions and reactions from the Bharatiya dressing room who are fighting the Aussies neck to neck. Australians are in total awe of this Bharatiya cricket team which has consistently given them a tougher fight on every test tour except a few exceptions

Pakistan's Test record in Australia has literally nothing to do with the fact that you're losing this series. Indian fans are smoking some good stuff if they think they are winning the series from this point.

Oh bhai what was impossible about this situation. Rain has wiped out a good part of three days. India are a good 193 runs behind. India has done nothing. Now id you want to celebrate the weather by jumping around thata fine.

Loosers these indians

They were hyping up the series as ashes and now celebrating because they avoided a follow on but they still going to get smashed by Australia
 
India have gone from winning in Australia with their C team to celebrating after avoiding a follow-on with their first team

Agreed. All players and coaching staff should be awarded with Bharat Ratna for pulling off a draw in what has been effectively a 3 day Test match because of the lost overs.

Drawing a Test with only 3 days worth of play is certainly an impossible situation.
 
This celebration reminds of the Lords test when Shami and Bumrah stiched together that last wicket partnership. We all know the result that followed next with captain Kohli's famous line 'Next 6 hours...they should feel like hell'.

Can Rohit trigger the same spirit tomorrow?

It was very important in context of match and series.

They were celebrating that. They were not celebrating avoiding follow-on in some random match where avoiding follow-on will make zero difference in match/series.

Have you guys not played any sports? Off course you will celebrate if the last wicket adding 40 runs means huge impact in a series. Those 40 runs were huge in context. Yes, some of these players are done and should retire, but if they are in team, I don't see any reason for them to not feel happy with runs added by tails given the context.

I don't think many players celebrate avoiding follow-on if it means losing the test. Now if Aus can still win this test, it will be awesome, but looks unlikely with all rain coming.

They are very much capable to draw this game now.

This is the spirit of Bharat that some cannot understand.

This attitude is the reason why we won our last two test series in Australia.

Because India were at risk of having to follow on. Avoiding the follow on, we made Australia bat again and got the chance to reduce them to 88/7 which automatically shuts up every distractor who were willing to cry that the Aussies got robbed because of rain.

We will fight the Aussies right till the 5th test.

Avoiding follow on from a position of real disadvantage was a sign of the resilience of this team and that’s why the cheers in the dressing room.

We are not a bunch of scared cricketers who remain glued to their seats in the dressing room , sweating and panicking about going out and having I compete with the Aussies. We look them in the eye and compete.

How come a team like India starts celebrating follow-on?? Are they minnows that they have to celebrate this big achievement like they did.

1-1 result after 3 test is Happy memory for Indian fan's.

Like sydney 2021 test ,this drawn test is gold for india interm of whole series results.

Now we just need 1 test win to retain the BGT trophy and both the remaining test venues are more familiar with Indian team's .

Think like a true cricket fans than you'll definitely understand .

Then you have very little knowledge of professional sports. In all competitive sports they celebrate getting an upper hand on the opposition. Winning and losing is part of the game but you are always going to meet your opponent in the next game and would prefer taking some positives and momentum.
