Dropped Catches Watch

Pakistan have been absolutely abysmal in the catching department in the Test series vs Australia.

So far in the first innings of the 3rd Test alone, there have been 3+ dropped catches.

One can only imagine what could have been if they'd clung on?

This is another reason we should play Shadab in Tests over the likes of Sajid and Chacha Nauman. Not only is a far better and experienced bowler but he is also an exceptional fielder. I don’t think he would ever drop a catch off his own bowling.

Our pathetic fielding makes me wish we had selected Imran Butt merely for his catching even though he is garbage as a batsman. Perhaps we could have Imran Butt in the squad as a fielding mentor because some of these blokes have butter fingers.

Another day another dropped chance!

36 : Sajid Khan to Labuschagne, 1 run, a dolly and Nauman has dropped it, Pakistan haven't taken their chances today - was the attempted reverse sweep and Labuschagne was done in by the extra bounce - gets a big edge that lobbed over backward point's head - Nauman back-tracked, wasn't in a great position and then palms it over
