PCB had plans to take the trophy to Muzzafarabad (Azad Kashmir) but BCCI protested at that. So ICC removed Muzzafarabad from the itinerary.

If PCB could not take this small stand, how they are going to hold the tournament without Indian Team? Never!

Why does India care if Pakistan wants to take it to Azad Kashmir? That region is under Pakistan's control.

As usual, ICC shamelessly bootlicked India.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 trophy tour in Pakistan wrapped up on Monday. The tour, which began in Islamabad on November 16, visited seven cities, including Taxila, Abbottabad, and Karachi, before concluding on November 25. This prestigious event precedes the tournament scheduled to take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, 2025. Despite political tensions with India affecting participation, the ICC confirmed Pakistan as the host nation for the championship.

Moin Khan speaking during an interview:

"What is the purpose of this trophy tour when no one really knows at which venues the tournament will be held and whether Pakistan and India will play against each other in the event? Strange having a trophy tour without the schedule being announced”
