Good start for Imad - 1 over and 1 run

1-20 after 3 overs so far for Imad. Like his usual economic self.

He should’ve signed for glamorgan

Imad Wasim is eyeing up a lengthy spell in Green and Gold after turning in a strong performance on his Outlaws return.

Wasim, who took 2-24 as the hosts won by five wickets, credited the strength of the bowling partnerships within the Notts ranks, and described the ease with which he has settled back into life at Trent Bridge.

Economy rate of 5.87 so far this season.

Brilliant numbers.

Win for Imad's team

LANCS 167/5 (20)
NOTTS 169/4 (17)

Nottinghamshire won by 6 wkts

PLAYER OF THE MATCH : Joe Clarke

Nottinghamshire vs Derbyshire, North Group - Imad playing today.

Pleased with his performance - outshining other Pakistanis this season.

Not sure why he is made to bat so far down in T-20 leagues. He's an effective big hitter with an international ODI average of 41.

Imad Wasim struck with his first ball. Figures of 1-4 after 1 over so far.

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.250%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/i1vws8" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

So Imad bowls 3 overs for 20 runs and takes 1 wicket in the Nottinghamshire vs Derbyshire, North Group game

Nottinghamshire and Imad coming up today against Leicestershire - toss in roughly 15-20 minutes.

Nottinghamshire opt to bat

NOTTS 150/6 (20)
DUR 132 (19.1)

Nottinghamshire won by 18 runs

Imad Wasim for his 2/24 in 3 overs

Notts are through to the quarter finals where they will face Leicestershire.

The quarter-finals will all be played on 1 October, with Notts at home to Leicestershire, Surrey playing Kent, Gloucestershire taking on Northants and Sussex facing Lancashire.

Chance for Imad to shine today!

Nottinghamshire opt to bowl

Nottinghamshire (Playing XI): Chris Nash, Alex Hales, Joe Clarke, Ben Duckett, Tom Moores(w), Daniel Christian(c), Steven Mullaney, Samit Patel, Imad Wasim, Matthew Carter, Jake Ball

Bowling well so far 0-4 of two overs, English commentators seem to rate him a lot higher than the consensus on PP it seems.

4 overs 28 runs and 0 wickets.

Went for 13 runs in his last over.

Nice but would have been nicer with wickets!

Decent effort with the ball for Notts this season for Imad considering he's been opening the bowling at times and bowling at the death on some occasions:

Matches 9
Overs 32
Runs conceded 231
Wickets 8
Economy rate 7.21

Imad Wasim dedicated the Outlaws' Vitality Blast triumph to his teammates and Notts' absent fans, after the Green and Golds secured their second T20 title.

Wasim, who hit the winning runs in the quarter-final and semi-final, also predicted a bright future for the Outlaws cohort of young guns, and praised the cool heads of Dan Christian and Samit Patel in the heat of battle.

Imad Wasim has told PakPassion.net that he is currently in Nottingham making use of the club's training facilities.
