From a mini altercation in PSL a few years ago, are they friends again? And can we see them again, the same way in Pakistan's national team anytime soon in future?

Watching them bowl today, I noticed a clear difference in their actions. Shaheen releases the ball with flight early, while Amir opts for a later release. Based on this, it appears to me Shaheen's bowling action is better suited for generating that extra pace.

Let’s hear it Major, what does the team need according to you. For the sake of it, let’s say the team doesn’t need ex fixers…ok so what does it need?

You can’t say it doesn’t need anything, because that would be a blatant lie going by the continuous poor results…

So tell us according to your expert opinion, what does the team need? I’ll keep pressing you on this question.

i will take a bliind fat cricketer but not a fixer who told the country for a few pounds.

There are some lines you dont cross and fixing is that line. Amir sold his country for a few money.

Right, but that doesn’t answer the question of what the team needs. What does the team need to be good enough to go toe to toe with the teams that are genuinely the favourites in white ball formats? What’s missing, what is needed?
 
So after taking rest from important test match, Shaheen is playing league cricket .
How is this manged his Work load?

Funny thing is those who don’t want fixers in the team were jumping around and chanting “Amir” after each wicket in the CT. But, once he loses a bit of form then they no longer want the fixer in the team.
 
Unfortunately, this pair is not gonna be seen forever in the internationals. Amir lost his hunger for the national team comeback and is now attracted to money. He is history now.

More like he knows his time is up and there are better bowlers than him that should play for Pakistan.

What Amir can do, the likes of Naseem and Ihsanullah can definitely match that.

Well then what do the opposing fans think? Iftikhar Ahmed will win them matches?? Sahibzada Farhan will win them matches batting at 5 or 7??? Haseebullah will win them matches getting favours as an opener?!! Fakhar Zaman will win them matches batting out of his position at number 3 or 4????? Shan Masood will win them matches playing BazzBall Test cricket in T20s?????

All of those names you mentioned might actually win our country games at international level in one format or the other, but unfortunately Azam will never amount to anything but a glorified league cricketer (that too maybe!).

That argument is as weak and as pathetic as you being exposed for claiming Naseem Shah is a better bowler than Amir right now.

Nobody has sold the country though. This beloved country still belongs to Pak establishment and it always will be till judgement day.
 
Funniest thing was seeing Amir steaming in and letting out a loud grunt as he puts everything into a ball and the speedometer reading 127kph
 
Both now being former shadows of what they once used to be.

For Amir he lost it quite a while back as for Shaheen, well he's got time to go back to basics and work on himself.
 
Today, Mohammad Amir and Shaheen Shah Afridi are bowling together for Desert Vipers against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, and it's interesting that Imad Wasim is playing for Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in ILT20 2024.For me the duo of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Amir is a lethal combination in T20 bowling.
 
Shaheen Shah Afridi faced a challenging outing for Desert Vipers against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, finishing without a wicket and conceding 31 runs in his 4 overs.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Amir, despite putting in a strong effort for Desert Vipers in ILT20 2024, secured only one wicket against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, registering figures of 1/22 in his 3 overs.
 
One a convicted spot-fixer, the other, one of the most overrated bowler in recent times. While we're at it, let's have Asif too in the mix.

Amir is already 33, so no return please and as far as being lethal duo is concerned don't be fooled, Starc & Cummins, Shami & Bumrah are the top draws

Serving time is not some ehsaan he has done.

Once you mess with the games creadiblity, you cant be trusted again. In USA and Canada, a criminal record stops you from ever getting a proper white collar job.

His creadibility is tainted. I am glad that he was able to self destroy his career and will never represent Pakistan.

So families whose loved one got murdered or raped should give a second chance to a murderer or a rapist who has served his/her punishment?

Easy to say these things like give second chances when you're not on the receiving end. Second chances are for minor mistakes. Not for murders, rapes, and selling your country knowingly for cash.
 
They already did so at the 2019 CWC.

Shaheen didn’t do so well. He was a run machine in almost every match.
 
This pair is not possible anymore. No need to hype these guys again. Amir has become a franchise freelancer so no need to talk about this guy anymore. Let him play leagues and earn his bread and butter, fair enough for him. SHaheen however should not follow the same path, it is not going to end well.
 
Amir has a greater bowling average than Salman Butt's batting average.

Tells you all you need to know.
 
Also these two have hit their ceilings when it comes to Pakistani bowlers in test cricket. 25-40 tests is all they can achieve.

They know this more than the fans. Hence the prioritisation of T20 leagues.

Makes a big difference if Shaheen isn’t given his entitled first over
 
Amir bowled better than Shaheen in the previous game as well when both played together

Amir was always a better bowler compared to Shaheen if we look at the early achievements of Amir. So I am sure Shaheen won't come near to him and surprisingly Amir is bowling even better towards the end of his career with better pace compared to Shaheen.

With such a decline Shaheen will be struggling to keep his place in the team in the next few years.
 
Shaheen is playing with a strike rate of 163 against Quetta Gladiators in batting position 5, while facing Mohammad Amir, who didn't allow him to hit any boundary.
