Where are they practicing?
What's Monty doing there?
The gloomy weather is such a downer!

Seems like they have hired Monty as spin bowling consultant. Abdullah719 any news on this? Why is Monty assisting the spin bowlers?

Mickey Arthur speaking today:
"The 3 days of the camp have been outstanding, it's been cold but the facilities have been outstanding. We've got exactly what we wanted out of it. We've been practising for 3 days in these conditions which has been invaluable, couldn't have been happier with where we are at the moment. We'll put that into practice tomorrow in the practice game against Kent"
"We've played a lot of cricket in England so we're used to the weather though it's chilly. The players acclimatise quickly, we've gone on with our business and the preparation has been outstanding"
"Hafeez has bowled and fielded so he's ahead of where we want him which is great news. He's been doing a lot of work. Don't rule him out in the ODI series"
"Tomorrow we're playing our best combination, it gives us 3 quick bowling options plus two spinners in Yasir and Imad and we bat deep, it's a great combination"

No, and doubt it'd be streamed on YouTube either. Is the match being broadcasted?
No, and doubt it'd be streamed on YouTube either.
There'll be live commentary though on BBC Radio Kent and probably some Twitter clips.

I'd say Monty is a bit old for a "comeback" now.
I think Haris is playing in place of Hafeez who isn't fully fit. Got it from Mickey's comment about not ruling him out of odi series just yet.
Mohammad Hafeez batting:

Shoaib Malik batting:

What pathetic technique by Shoaib Malik, batting deep into the crease and taking a further step back to the play the ball, no wonder he can't bat to save his life and we talk about technique when it suits us to keep batsmen like Fawad Alam out. The greatest tragedy of Pakistan cricket.
Very similar to hashim Amla. Even kohli has a trigger movement similar to this. You don't even know anything about technique so it would be better if it you don't talk about it
Don't flatter you are no Geoffrey Boycott either
Plus you clearly have no clue how to read and your sight has betrayed you as well. Trigger movement and batting back in the crease and then stepping further back are two different things, look it up.
Do a side by side comparison of Kohli's practive vids and see where he stands in terms of the crease and where Mr. Technique Malik stands, you'd be blind to see any similarities.

Firstly, drop the attitude. Secondly, search up what a trigger movement actually is. Shoaib has a back and across trigger movement.
Not really, if anything a technique like that should make his defence more solid against swing/seam. It's a similar trigger movement to Amla, not that Malik is in the same class as Amla, but still there's a clear attempt to alter his technique against pace bowlers.

Imam ul Haq dead bats a ball
Mickey Arthur "yeah good, Immy I'm loving that intent"

I told you so?Malik to get out 'hit wicket' at least once this year
What did i say?
It's the back and across trigger movement. But you were saying that I didn't know the difference between a trigger movement and what shoaib malik was doing. You were wrong.
