Tawhid Hridoy, born on December 4, 2000, is a Bangladeshi cricketer who has represented his country across various formats. He made his first-class debut for Rajshahi Division in October 2017. A few months later, he was selected for Bangladesh's squad in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He then made his List A debut for Shinepukur Cricket Club in February 2018.

In franchise cricket, Hridoy was picked by Sylhet Sixers for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League and made his T20 debut in January 2019. By December 2019, he had been appointed vice-captain of Bangladesh’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In 2021, he was selected for Bangladesh Emerging Squad for a series against the Ireland Wolves. That same year, he scored his maiden double century in first-class cricket, making 217 runs in the Bangladesh Cricket League.

Hridoy made a strong impression in his international debut. In early 2023, he was called up for Bangladesh’s ODI and T20I squads for the series against England and made his T20I debut in March. Later that month, he played his first ODI against Ireland and scored 92 runs, marking the highest individual score by a Bangladeshi on ODI debut. He also played a crucial role against Afghanistan later that year, scoring a match-winning 47* in a tense T20I finish.

In 2024, Hridoy was included in Bangladesh’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The following year, he was named in the squad for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, further cementing his place in the national team.

He was part of the U-19 World Cup winning team.

Played some good innings in his short career so far.

it was a good knock but it looked a bit selfish in the end. Also, extremely poor fitness. He isn't fat and still looked like completely done by the time he barely got into an ODI 100.. Need to work on his fitness and he can have a decent career

Excellent innings under pressure. Tawhid cemented number 5 position for BD. 4 or 5 suits him best. ideally I’d bat him at 4 as he can take singles better than Mehidy.
