Positive impact of Pakistan One Day Cup 2017

The One Day Cup going on in Pakistan would surely have a positive impact to the type of cricket played by the Pakistani players. Heavy scores have been registered throughout the tournament. Scores of 300 and above have been consistently scored and close chases together to go with that. Strike rates of all batsmen who have done the bulk of the scoring i.e malik hafeez amin akmal alam haris and even a few others have done some good scoring at a very good strike rate.

This would surely help the team score well and adapt to the modern nature of cricket played. Credit should be given to the PCB and curators for planning this. Hope Pakistan Cricket benefit from this.

Good to see the intent. The pitches have been good. Ideally liked them to be pacy and flat so fast bowlers have a reason to bend their back and bounce for spinners.

Best domestic tournament 50 over tournament ever in Pakistan because of pitches. If this trend continues we'll surely produce better batsmen. No just need sindh to give chance to youngsters rather than hide them. Saif badar and hasan mohsin not got a chance yet. Young batsman need to be bloodied like nabi gul and hacks need a good run like awais Zia and Numan anwar

Good points. This is indeed an ideal preparation for the icc champions trophy, not pitch vise but aggression vise. This aggression in batting will only take pakistan players and help building the players mindset into being aggresive while batting. Hope some of the current performing players get selected

Because of the weather the pitches have become flat , hence allowing good runs. Pakistan domestic fc season is played in the worst weather possible for cricket , short days and wet pitches.

if you are going to select the same old TTFs in the name of experience who perform very less compared to the top performers in the tourney... then whatever the impact this can make is nullified..

If you are going to select the players like Umar Amin, Haris sohail, Fakhar Zaman, Aamer Yamin Fawad Alam and Sahibzada Farhan.
