1-Amir : top wicket taker of the WC at this point, 10-1-47-3, amazing figure while bowling to some of the great batsmen on a batting paradise and no support from other end.

2-Imad: time and time he has proved that he is the man with strong nerves and raises his game at big occasions, should be the captain after the WC.

3-Fakhar: Was not the most fluent innings but played with great responsibility, did not have luxury to go bang bang due to score board pressure.

4-Babar: again, almost opened the inning and kept our hopes alive for some time.

Wow, if these performances from Babar & FZ are cause for celebration then its a bigger concern. These were fairly ordinary performances. In a world class game, you expect your core players to carry it further. Babar's got out to a beauty from Yadav and the latter's ability to spin on the same surface were Imad/Shadab were just ordinary tells you the difference in their abilities

Stop this nonsense. They all contributed to the loss. Fakhar and Babar swallowed Over 20 overs and then threw it away. This is absolute garbage batting From two players who have been around long enough now. There’s no need for a pat on their back’s. Imad bowled okay but useless bits and pieces cricketer. Amir coming back to form might be a real hole but let’s not forget he to waste it to four years and did nothing. A couple of wickets in a few games Over two years is nothing to be happy about.

Disagree with Amir being brilliant. Good stats but bowled selfishly at the start because pitching the ball up runs the risk of runs but it does lead to more chances being created. The others were just as bad.

Non of these performances matter if we lose. If we’re lose 90% of our matches like we currently do then we have no reason to look at small 50s and a couple of wickets with happiness.

Fakhar and Babar batted ok but they did not kick on to get us close to the target.

I agree with this, these guys did as well as they could have down, hampered by bad captaincy, bad decision at the toss, probably bad coaching and the selection of Malik, Hasan Ali, Riaz and Hafeez.

A very good core group of players is being hampered by some poor choices. The captain himself is a non entity. The far continues.

I disagree with most of the points.

Fakhar is known to take the attack to the bowlers, an attacking opener, today we saw a test match opener from him very nervous could not hit to save his life.
Where is the brain and think tank to stay ahead of the DLS and not behind?

Your chasing 337 and you start your first 10 overs with 39-1?
Rain is threatening to come down knowing that you still play really slow till the 20th over which by then the game is out of reach so is the DLS total and India have strangled your team with no way out.

The only player who played well was Amir, where other bowlers were getting thrown everywhere around the ground, Amir was the only one getting the ball to do something.

Babar may be class but they all started folding to pressure once again.

It was a shameful embarassing defeat once again at the hands of a formidable Indian team who are miles and miles ahead of Pakistan and continue to grow further and further.
