PPFMC Season 3 - Suggestions

so after the end of season 2. I want to ask about the suggestions for season 3. Our league is just about perfect but i think we still need to add some new stuff for the next season.
Put your ideas and make it even more interesting.
 
i also suggest to decrease the number of teams as most of the managers are leaving and i am not getting new managers easily who can give time.
What you guys say about it.
 
16 is a perfect no. Ibad. We used to have 24 in season 1 where 8 teams used to get a bye which was a bit unfair. I am sure we can get some active managers on board. Post about PPFMC in the sports section, there are lot of football fans out there.
 
Keep persevering Ibad and I'm sure it'll grow. Leave the number of teams I say.
 
ok i will keep 16 teams for this season. Also i think i need 3-4 managers.
 
Ibad, the best way to do it is PM someone who you think might enjoy managing here. A lot of times if you just put a thread in other sections, people just ignore it. If you PM someone, they're more likely to read it.
 
I think 16 teams is a good number. Hopefully we can get some managers in for the vacant teams.

I would like to see Alberto step up and take a team.
 
Yep, Alberto should move on to managing his own team.

Ibad, gets Shaz619 here as well. Once his exams are done I think he'll have time for this. He seems to know his Football as well.
 
Can we raise the squad limit?lets say 27?

And we may get a few more quality players then.

Also as far as new quality players are concerned i have an idea. How about making some new stars the wonderkids and put them on free transfer.
 
wonderkids will have high attributes. They can be achieved by modifying some new players.
 
basically the super footballers as we use Super cricketers in PPCL.
 
Why wonderkids why not legends?just an idea we can work on.But legends should be over and above the Squad limit.

Wonderkid idea is also a good one.
 
i think we should introduce Super Footballers this season with same rules that are followed in PPCL.
Putting a limit on number of matches they can play and also putting an auction for them.

As far as attributes are concerned. I will modify them and we can have 16 super players. Making them legend will not be good but yes attributes will be nearing the legends.

No no i mean legendary players like Pele Zidane Maradona etc.

You can modify their attributes according to their real playing styles.

Also if you are going to put a limit on their matches make them over and above the squad limit.

Ibu Bhai.. IMO Wonderkidz would be a better option than Legends... Why should we Copy Cat the PPCL.. Then whaz the difference btw PPCL and PPFMC...??? We are Different.. so we should Think diffrent right..
 
Okay awesome Kiwi is here - that's one manager.

Alberto should start managing his own team, that would be two.

PM The Paradox and Shaz.

Also, im not in favor of modifying stats and bringing legends into the fore. It's okay in cricket but hurts the realism in football manager. Lets keep the draft the same way it was last season. Everybody should release 5 players so they can add 5 new ones?
 
releasing 5 players is a bit too harsh for the managers who build their team last two seasons.
 
why don't you make some actual wonderkids that we can draft using random youth players. Guys that will replace our older legends as they develop.

That way we can keep building our teams realistically.

I think 5 is okay. Anything more than 5 would be harsh. How about 3?

I agree. We need to keep it realistic. Editing players etc just sucks the fun out of it. Manager can pick up wonderkids and grow them over seasons.
 
What about thee draft and releasing system we had last year? We released 10 players last season IIRC, what about this season?

last season we released more players because we reduced the teams and we also shifted to new game.

Now most of the managers already built their teams and can't afford to release a lot of players to build them again.

Alright Not 10 but I think we should still release around 5-6 players.
 
i am thinking to the following.


1. Managers release 3 players from their teams before transfer window and they will be up as free agents in the transfer window.

2. I will make 10-12 young players as wonderkids and put them as free agents so most of the teams should get new better players and groom them accordingly.
They will replace the older players.
 
Also i want to add something new this season. Give me suggestions on adding something spicy and new.

If you are putting up new wonderkids, then put 16 as no of teams is also 16. Put a limit of 1 player per team.

I have got a suggestion.The managers and assistants(being modest) who have won a trophy should have their usernames in a golden colour so other people can see.For Example:Genghis-Winning Manager of Zizou cup Season 2.This will engage interest in potential new managers.It is like a special title.if you can't be a Moderator.

Ibad, how about training the players so you can improve their stats?Ibad,I want you to introduce sponsorship like shirts and stadium to make it more commercial and fun!Also let each manager pick any 1/2 players from any league in the world who is currently not in PPFMC!

last season i started a poll but some managers were not happy to release even a single player and some wanted to release all theirs.

I think 3 is a perfect figure. So its final. 3 players to be released from each team.

it is a good idea but i can't do anything in it. Ask the Admins to do it for the managers.

I will suggest some of the options.


Golden color for EBC winner.
Silver color for CDF and Zizou Cup winner.


Also giving them special user title like

PPFMC Zizou Cup winning Manager, etc

I hope you're ready to take up your own team, this season. Genghis is a big boy, he can take care of himself now.

Kiwi, Alberto, The Paradox and Shaz/s2k could be our next managers. Ibad, you should still make a thread in the cricket section because most posters visit that section.

I have asked all the players you mentioned except Paradox. Will ask him too.

Kiwi is saying that he is busy with exams, Shaz is not interested. Alberto don't want to leave MF. And s2k is not replying. I offered him earlier and he wanted to join from a new season but now he is not online for some days.

So i will try to ask Paradox and see what he says.

Maybe we should think to advertise beyond PPFMC and PPCL...:hafeez
 
Alberto haven't even asked the admins. I think some of you should do it and create a thread in MRR regarding this.

Leatherface and KU leaving. i hope they stay with their teams.

If they stay then we need two managers and if they don't then we need 4.
 
finalfantasy7, chachakashmiri, Danyal99, justarslan, Punisher are others who seem to have interest in football
 
we are starting International series before the start of a new season. We do it after the end of each season.

Also can someone help me out in making a PPFMC award or Hall of Fame thread which states all the winners and achievers of PPFMC and International series.
 
Ibad, I can make an awards room almost identical to the PPCL one. I just need all team logos and winners of competitions for both seasons.

thanks for your help, but in PPFMC we don't have dynamic team logos so i think logos are not required..
 
Also wait for the international cup to end so we can add Confeds cup winner as well.
