So the tour of South Africa done and wins in both series - makes Pakistan hot favourites to win their next T20I series against Zimbabwe with a 3-0 margin in my view (would have been same even if they hadnt play SA also)

If Pakistan play to their potential then it should be nothing less than 3-0

Pak will win 3-0 but they should try the new players, Middle order collapse is a worry, I am really disappointed with Asif Ali, Somehow i was hoping he replicate the psl/domestic hitting at international level.

Hoping for a 3-0 but wouldn't be surprised at this point if we do drop a game, especially with a rotated side.

Need to see some of our lower order players being pushed up for some performances sake. Matches might end up being tighter than expected. Looking forward to at least one over 200 score ideally in the first game with sharjeel given another go and Haider at 4.

Hard to say, both teams are evenly matched. However, Pakistan will have an advantage with Sikhandar Raza missing due to injury.

The Zimbabwean batsmen will have watched how Pakistan’s bowling was getting smashed to pieces against South Africa B, and they will be keen on putting on a similar performance against the weakest bowling attack Pakistan has ever had since 1952, the year in which they were founded.

I reckon, 2-1 Zimbabwe. And, hopefully Misbah and Waqar getting sacked.

On the ICC T20I rankings, Pakistan have gained two points after the series win against South Africa and have consolidated their fourth position with 262 points, with England on the top with 272 points, followed by India (270) and Australia (267).

If Pakistan win all three matches against Zimbabwe, they will gain one point and narrow the gap with third ranked Australia to four points. Winning the series 2-1, will still keep them to fourth position but will cost them two points and take them down to 260.

Losing the series 3-0 will demote Pakistan to fifth spot equal with New Zealand on 255 points each. On the contrary, if the hosts win the series or even a single match, they will climb one spot from 12th to 11th in the ICC rankings.

On the head to head chart, Pakistan have won all five bilateral T20I series against Zimbabwe. They have won all 14 T20I matches. Pakistan last visited Zimbabwe in July 2018, to feature in a tri-nation tournament involving Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Australia. Pakistan beat Australia by six wickets on 8 July at the Harare Sports Club to win the tournament.

I'd go 3-0. If Pakistan are really going to test their bench strength and rest key players, perhaps Zimbabwe could win a match, considering how mediocre said bench strength seems to be. But with Babar, Rizwan, Hafeez, Fakhar, Shaheen all likely to play, 3-0 should be the bare minimum.

With injury to Ervine - 3-0 seems very much the case.

I was wrong, we’re not evenly matched. Zimbabwe is much stronger than full strength Pakistan team.

To be honest, I'm delighted for Zimbabwe cricket. These sporadic wins are needed desperately to keep the game alive in that country.

Pakistan doing favours for those below them in the pecking order, as usual. It was Sri Lanka in the 80s, Zimbabwe in the 90s, Bangladesh and Ireland in 1999 and 2007 respectively. It's a valuable service to the game of cricket.

BCCI trying to stifle the growth of international cricket. Pakistan trying to grow it :ua

I really did not see this coming at all.

Lets hope we finish up at 2-1 and move on.

Nobody did, looking forward to tomorrow’s game and hey it’s not the end of the world that you lose even if it’s Zimbabwe. This was a brain fade game and sometimes that happens.

Any training vids of the test team prep?
