Multan Sultans will take on Lahore Qalandars at Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, April 22, in PSL 2025's 12th match.

Multan Sultans, led by Mohammad Rizwan, are desperate for their first win after three consecutive losses. Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars, under Shaheen Afridi, sit second in the standings with two wins from three matches and enter as favorites against a struggling Multan side.

They let out the shosha first that PSL will be on spin wickets this season to justify their horrendous squad selections. They did this because Abdul Rehman and Rizwan have basically shafted them to build the team around Rizwan who isn’t even a T20 cricketer.

Now they could have produced wickets at home to suit their shosha…but their key overseas spinner Motie has left them and we don’t even know why?!

They had a slot available to add someone at the top of the order who could add firepower, and then replace Motie with another lower order hitter from low leagues in Campher.

Like Peshawar’s obsession to destroy themselves through Babar, Multan are also on the way with their obsession to please Rizwan.

The reason why Pakistani fans like me are mad isn't because Pakistan isn't a world class unit. I am not delusional enough to believe that Pakistan will suddenly transform into a tournament winning side, I expect the same rubbish performance in tournaments.

But I am sick of the mantra that Pakistan is Pakistan is Babar and Rizwan and that's it .

Babar is not a t20 player, he's done. However he is badly out of form but I am still okay with him playing on odi and test cause I remember his 2017-2021 run and would appreciate it if he works hard and comes back into form.

A natural t20 player like Inglis should play more test cricket. Inglis improved massively since he started playing FC.

I remember he use to be completely crap in 2023 wc, was far worse then rizwan, was essentially a tail ender. It took him one year to reach a level rizwan will never reach even if he's given the opportunity to reincarnate into 100 lifetimes.

A t20 player improves his stroke play by playing test cricket. Rizwan doesn't do a damn thing.

The only reason I want him to play test is because their isn't any one else that im aware of at the moment.

Haris is good but he isn't good enough to wicket keep for 3 to 5 days. Batting wise it's not an issue. Otherwise Rizwan isn't good enough for tests either. He's useless in all formats but yes t20 is the most noticeable due to his insistence to open.

They werent that strong bhai, This season doesn't feature a burnt out end of their lifeline Martin Guptil, Sarfaraz Ahmed and various other former legends in other sides.

Similarly it now features a packed and stacked Karachi followed by A more comfortable shaheen and fakhar for LQ since fakhar has zero pressure.

Fakhar knows he'll get opening eventually as ba/riz are cooked from t20 and this psl was their final chance to change their critics mind, and they've failed spectacularly.

Similarly shaheen isn't falling for the dosti yaari bulls@it anymore. He's out to kill.
